Pens don't really need 3 rookies on D (Despres, Strait, Bortuzzo), or even 2 if Strait is the 7th. I've been wanting to keep Bort for quite some time, though. Shero's pretty good at drafting Dmen. Perhaps it's time Shero does some D prospects for F prospects trades?
I don't know why they are playing Samuellson over Wild unless that's a request from upper management. I wish Strait could bet back in there.
Because hes played physical and played well so far. Not to mention hes got a lot of something called "potential".
Or are you going to try and imply they lost because he jumped into that play? Which resulted in a great chance for walker that he didnt finish by the way. And ignore the fact the team hasn't been capitalizing on any chances and blew two straight 5v3's in a second period they outshot the caps 10-0?
Keep trying the manifest destiny thing with Philip though. If you keep rationalizing hes so bad, and keep trying to convince others the same way, then maybe, just maybe, it will actually come true.
Until then all your criticism is pretty much irrational and over the top. Especially when Philip is even with an assist in 6 playoff games and Despres is -4 (worst on the team) with an assist in the same number of games. But unsurprisingly not a peep about how bad despres has looked at times.
I've been one of the biggest Samuelsson haters but I was actually a little impressed with him at times. His skating is much better than I thought. Dude is still lanky as heck though.
If any one has a stream for the game can they post or PM me?
I don't see it. Other than the big hits he's been very slow in his on ice decisions. I'm not blaming him for the loses but I certainly think Wild would be a better option. But I know he's in there because he's a prospect and Wild isn't. That's just the way it goes, prospect development comes before WBS wins. It's unfortunate for the WBS franchise because they will never win a championship.
