That's what having a composed, cool as ice, in control of his emotions coach behind the bench does for your team. Players take note. This was the biggest thing we've been missing. Sure you don't get the occasional PP you might have if you whined like someone just snorted your donut but in the end it pays off.

Just home from the game.

Congrats from a sad Bruins fan.

Your young Holtby looks great. Good luck in the second round.

Go Wides and Knuble!!

Goal Scorers Anonymous

My name is Ovi and I have a problem. My coach figured it out.

It's a tight ship. If we need a goal, Ovi has to go score one. If we are up a goal, we commit to not allowing a goal, Ovi hardly plays. Score tied, everyone plays. Back and forth.

Well heart's still racing and will be difficult to get to sleep right away but will have to call it a night, but before I depart I'll leave you with this thought, "Dennis Wideman still sucks".

Let's go Caps!

Nice win for you guys, congrats, and I hope you make it far as there is no better feeling than winning the Cup and doing well after so many years of not being Champions.

All the best to you guys, now it is time for golfing, fishing, motorbiking and beers in the sun.

Again well done, Holtby was amazing.

It'd be a lot easier to do if people weren't so busy patting Dale on the back for winning a cup.

Did you guys notice the exchange between Backstrom and Thomas as they shook hands? Thomas mimicked punching his own jaw and it looked to me like he was apologizing to Backstrom for his blocker punch.

looks like it!

Also, when they showed shots of Holtby shaking hands with Chara and a few after him, it looked like Carlson was crying. Anyone know?

I didn't notice, but I think I need to watch the whole thing all over again, from final goal until this.

Does anyone know where I can find the postgame press conference?

Great series. Hats off to Boston for a well played series. OT game 7's are a crap shoot. OT but have to say the Boston HF posters seem generally the more well mannered considering the last few years (HF board wise /props).

May and Locker were making references to it perhaps, saying numerous times how calm the players were, showing a lot of confidence. You can almost see it in Dale as he stands behind the bench.

I think Holtby has been keeping the players calm. And fans as well.

The X Factor, Youtube coach. The players knowing damn well Dale was a playoff menace, has been in the front line trenches, a true warrior, not just a thug, a playoff performer, and having respect for him from day 1. Actions speak louder than words.

Hershey could really use a top-notch AHL scorer to help against the baby Pens...

Bruins fans seem pretty great actually.

I guess a ton of championships across the major sport spectrum makes a fanbase pretty chill.

I was somewhat just slightly encouraged after one of the Boston Mods guaranteed a win after the third period tonight.

One thing Caps fans know is that you don't ever mess with the hockey gods. Ever.

The point is that it's not BB fans. It's OMG we finally have a coach. Which is insane. If you want to ***** about it not being the time, ***** at that. You don't just get to censor one side because you don't feel like seeing it when the other side is getting **** on.

You are incredibly myopic if you think THAT is what started it.
