That's really the only thing you have to worry about. I wonder if they are willing to give Khudobin 25-30 games or if they are thinking more like 15-20.
I can't see the Bruins wanting Rask to play more than 60 games in the reg season.

If Fluto drunk?

Rask made 1.5 million last year (his cap hit being 1.25)

EDIT - $3 million per year sounds great to me. $5 million.. not so much.

You are correct Rick. My early edition print version is missing these key words - coming off a two year-

That makes it 1 .25 each. Which is what the electronic version says.

I'd easily give him 2 . 5 a year if that's what he wants.

Go Team Hoyt !

The only thing that worries me about Tuukka is injury. He's shown that he can be a great goalie in this league, so talent is not even an issue as far as I'm concerned. Sometimes a couple injuries early in a career are an indication that a player is prone to getting hurt, and sometimes it's just bad luck. Hopefully it is the latter with Tuukka. I think Tuukka's work rate will depend heavily on Khudobin's play in the first quarter of the season. If Khudobin plays really well then I can see Tuukka getting a decent number of games off. If Khudobin is spotty and mediocre then Tuukka will get a lot more starts. Khudobin could very well end up giving us two strong goalies like we've enjoyed over the past several years. One thing is certain, both these guys have to be more motivated than ever to perform well and take advantage of their opportunities. Even with Timmy gone I am comfortable with our current situation at goalie.
