If Pouliot killed penalties they would keep him but he doesn't so they'll slot Caron in his place. PC and CJ love versatility.

It's because he's a bit of a "complementary" player right now. We have Bergeron who is our clear #1, and Seguin seems ready to transition to center after this year.

I don't get the hate, either. If anything, I wouldn't be terribly upset if he was traded for assets that would benefit the team, and I'd still wish him well wherever he went.

Just keep Kelly if he doesn't want to stay in Boston then
move Bergy in his spot and Seguin to center.
Some youngsters from the farm should be able to fill in the 4th line.

No i hear you he was great in the playoffs, but there is a reason why they let him walk. By the way you relize you made by point by saying its not NHL13 by saying he can just flat shoot the puck nice try though

Low hockey IQ, and a little too active with his stick. He lost game 5 with a bad stick penalty and game 7 with a stupid decision on a dump in. He's as dumb as he is skilled.

Agree i want to see what knight can do. Poo is done here

Not the smartest, I`ll agree, but many here were screaming at that call in game 5 as being on the refs not Poo at that time.

Either way, I don`t think he`s brought back nor would I have any issues with it, if a prospect shows they can belong, he can be easily moved, he`s hardly THE reason(s) why this team lost.

If the other 3 lines showed the same willingness to drive the net as consistently as the Kelly line, we may not be having some of the conversations we are now.

Globe reports that rolston will not be signed. I would consider him at the right price. He was good I. His short stint

You could just as easily say that if the other lines were as often exposed to the Wideman/Schultz pairing. . .

My thoughts:

Pouliot - if management can get him to stop taking selfish, useless penalties, I'd like him resigned for sub-2.

Kelly - he's gone, which is a tremendous blow for the Bruins.

Campbell/Paille - I like them both. Campbell stays if it's my call.

Rask - no brainer. His injury tendencies worry the **** out of me though.

Thomas - on the fence. I truly did not like the energy he brought to the team with his shenanigans this year, but you can't deny his performance (most nights). If he left, and we handed the reigns to Tuukka, I wouldn't be devastated provided we did something with the resulting cap savings.

I am content with our D. I would not want to pursue Suter at all.

We need pure goal scoring. With Kelly gone, and Horton's status very much up in the air, that's possibly 40-45 goals to replace. I don't understand why you guys figure Parise is unreachable. He's not.

Krecji - maybe one of the best number TWO centremen in the game. He's not a number one.

I think he's likely going to retire.

Absolutely resign Rask.
Kelly: if the money is right but I could see some team overpay for his service.
Campbell/Paille: I really dig them but would only resign them for cheap.I could see Paille stay and Campbell walk but idk.
Would keep Mottau for 500k, Corvo, Zanon can go take a walk. Crovo could get hit by a train and I wouldn't care. The only feeling I have is that he will end up in Washington lol
If Poo resigns for 1mill ok, otherwise the door is wide open.

Kelly, agree with NeelyDan and with only one possible replacement I see in Stoll, it will be a huge blow.
...He is gone. However the new cba might make more free agents avialable. Chia had better hope so. As for Paille and Campbell, refusing the in season offer is the same thing as a player in another sport testing the open market. It is code for leaving. Of the three, they have the best chance of keeping Campbell. Given ease of replacement, and his career arc/talent, who is the one I let walk, Campbell.
Thomas is gone, I don't know what he does off the ice but it is enough to really annoy several people, wish it wasn't so.
Cant see them trusting Rasks ability
in the po or health. I think they keep #30 next year. I would.

Likely. If its up to me and I think he can be consistent. I offer sub 2 closer to 1 and see what happens.

Rask said that although negotiations haven't begun he intends on staying in Boston. Sees it as a good situation.^BISH

Agree completely, you can't be making mental errors like that in G7 OT. I don't give **** how nice his goal on the Panthers was. He's gotta go, he's got skill, but IMO, he's not a part of a Championship caliber team. He just doesn't make smart plays.

Wideman and Schultz didn`t only play against the Kelly line, other lines exposed to them and did little to nothing

PC said he's got some work to do signing-wise, but the B's will not makeover this team. Thinks the B's are Final contenders^BISH

Chiarelli said he'd like to look for a forward to bolster the B's top lines. Thinks Hamilton will challenge for a D spot.^BISH

No, it wasn't only those lines against each other, but it WAS mainly those lines.
