I hope Denis comes through with another spectacular KO so we see his fight.

Does Dodson become the #1 contender at FW with a win?

Eh, doubt it. They have to give him another fight at least since the FW championship fight is still months away.

He'll win, and they'll throw him in a #1 contenders match in the late summer.

Oh ya, I forgot that creepy & mighty mouse were still a while away. Putting him against another contender on the FW title card would be logical, assuming he wins.

The main card seems really tough to get a handle on. Its plausible that either fighter could pull out a win in each fight, except for Pal vs. Belcher. I'm prepared for the worst.

Belcher can definitely win. Palhares has managed to crap the bed in his two biggest fights against Henderson & Marquardt. He's due for another mental breakdown.

He looked like a deer in the headlights and got dominated against Henderson, but he didn't crap the bed against Marquardt. I thought he was winning the fight until Marquardt slipped out of a leg lock attempt and Toquinho quit fighting and appealed to the referee. He apparently had issues in the past of opponents greasing and thought Marquardt was doing the same thing. Obviously that's a mental error (is that what you mean by crapping the bed?) but it's probably not one he'll have again, and in my mind it wasn't like he was "in over his head" against Marquardt.

You underestimate Manbearpig, he had another mental error two fights later when he decided he had beat Dan Miller and started to celebrate. Guy is a great fighter, but he seems like he's got **** for brains.

Palhares
Koscheck
Barry

Yes. Palhares has serious mental issues and they are going to prevent him from ever being champion.

I remember that....
It's like he just decided he won the fight. Miller's hands did drop for a split second and that was enough for RP to decide he had won.

Belcher should try playing possum on him...

Main card:
Lightweight bout: Nate Diaz vs. Jim Miller

Dude is just tough as nails, I think he grinds out a decision win. Both guys have great jits, but Miller has better wrestling and I think uses it to negate Diaz's boxing.

Welterweight bout: Josh Koscheck vs. Johny Hendricks

As much as I don't like him, Koscheck will win this one. I'm calling 2nd round KO with a wild overhand right.

Middleweight bout: Rousimar Palhares vs. Alan Belcher

Belcher can hold his own on the ground, but Palhares is a legit threat to anyone on the ground. Even standing, I could see Palhares getting this one down, so unless Belcher abandons kicks entirely and tries to just box with him and stuff his takedowns, I see Palhares taking this by 2nd round sub.

Heavyweight bout: Pat Barry vs. Lavar Johnson

Pat Barry all the way. Easy FON candidate. I just like Barry's style, and the fact he can get inside on the bigger guys and cause problems. That said, Johnson is a warrior, and is going to take a beating before he fades away.

Preliminary card (Fuel TV):
Lightweight bout: Tony Ferguson vs. Michael Johnson

I like Johnson more, but I believe Ferguson has a more well-rounded game. While I could see Johnson using his wrestling and aggression to hold Ferguson down, I see him getting caught and end up as a 3rd round TKO victim.

Flyweight bout: John Dodson vs. Tim Elliott

Simply speaking, he's the future of the flyweight divison. Nuff said.

Welterweight bout: John Hathaway vs. Pascal Krauss

When I think of this guy, I can't help but remember how he fought against Diego Sanchez a while back. I think this kid is legit, and will grind out a UD win.

Flyweight bout: Louis Gaudinot vs. John Lineker

I think he could use more polish, but I like his style - very dynamic, great striking, though I worry about his grappling ability. That said, I think he'll keep the fight standing for a lopsided UD win.

Lightweight bout: Danny Castillo vs. John Cholish

This is a tough one, but I think eventually it goes to the ground and Cholish uses some solid submission skills to bring this one to a screeching halt. 2nd round submission, probably by guillotine.

Featherweight bout: Dennis Bermudez vs. Pablo Garza

Going with experience. Bermudez looked decent on TUF, but Garza has the edge here in all areas IMHO. UD win.

Preliminary card (Facebook):
Bantamweight bout: Roland Delorme vs. Nick Denis
Middleweight bout: Mike Massenzio vs. Karlos Vemola

No problem. And for future reference, all the FOX cards should follow this same format.
