7 Round Mock Draft(just Ottawa)

1. Derrick Pouliot(D)
3. Troy Bourke(LW)
3. Gemel Smith(C)
4. Matt Murray(G)
5. Jesse Graham(D)
6. Austin Czarnik(RW)
7. Alex Gudbranson(D)

There might be a too many CHL players(all but Czarnik) but they were around Ottawa's picks on what I was going off of.

To be honest, that would be a great draft for us. Troy Bourke and Gemel Smith are bottom 6 players but could add offense. Gemel Smith was a highly regarded first rounder but slipped this season. Matt Murray is a great goalie who we don't have to rush. Jesse Graham has comparisons to Karlsson and Gudbranson likes to throw the body but needs to improve his defense.

I don't think Smith will drop that far.

But maybe I'm wrong.

Jesse Graham in the 5th Round would be an absolute steal. I'd take him with our first pick in the 3rd Round if he was still there. The guy has some of the best breakout passes I've ever seen, and his Hockey IQ is through the roof.

Not a fan of Gudbranson, but obviously a 7th Round Pick is low, so what the hell.

Smith I think will be a high 2nd rounder with potential to go between 25 and 30. He reminds me of Marchand minus the drama on ice. With how thin it gets up front it wouldn't shock me at all to see him go late 1st.

Was just chilling with Smith today at the school's basketball alumni game. He's gonna go hard in this off-season and he has changed a lot since I last seen him. Real strong kid. Hope we can draft him.

Btw, if you guys have any questions you want me to ask Smith let me know. I'm tryin to make him a Sens fan, LOL.
