THE MATCHUP
2012 EASTERN CONFERENCE QUARTERFINALS
GAME #7 - 4/26/2012
@
(3) ____________ (3)
7:00 PM ET
MADISON SQUARE GARDEN - NYC, NY
MSG | NBC SPORTS | CBC, RDS
QUOTES TO NOTE
The way these guys are, how close they are in the dressing room, it's hard not to fall in love with this group just the way they work and stand up for each other.
It stems from the leadership group, and it's why we stayed calm and collected.
- Chris Kreider
I'm just happy that we played a really good game when all the pressure was on. In tight games we need the power play, and the power play stepped up tonight.
It was big for us. And we stayed confident, even after the first period. We played really well and deserved to win.
- Henrik Lundqvist
We’re going into a Game 7 with the opportunity to win the hockey game based on our game last night. That’s all we’re concerned about.
- John Tortorella

Great work guys LGR!
Anyone else have a problem with Arty on the 4th? Hes got proven chemistry with Dubi and certainly would be a better winger for him than Feds.

Im so happy that princess Karlsson ( Which I believe I coined ) has taken off .
Take the body first to establish territory
Get pucks to the net .
Get Ando moving side to side
No negativity ... Positive vibes all day .... The lines are only a starting point . As for AA historically he has proven to play well with a rugged guy on his wing , be nice for the 4 th to chip in some OFF zone puck possession time and maybe a good break / puck in the net for them .
LFGR !!!!

Either they step it up and show that they are the better and hungrier team or they are going home early, plain and simple.

with Lundqvist getting the Vezina nod, thats more than likely gonna motivate his a.s.s to steal a game if he needs to. hopefully he wont because we will be up by 178,987,266.4 goals heading into the 1st tv timeout......LGR!!!
