As I was making my wife's lunch (with NHL Network on in the background) a preview for Game 7 came on. So I'm listening to it, going about my business when all of the sudden I got this feeling in the bottom of my stomach. I don't know where it came from..but I have now felt nauseous for the past half hour..I don't think it's because I don't have a good feeling..I just think that this is the way you are supposed to feel on the day of a Game 7. Felt it 18 years ago the last time the Rangers played a Game 7 at the Garden, felt it back in 2006 with another team that I will not mention cause they broke my heart, and I feel it now..Less than 12 hours to go, my stomach hurts, my hands are cold and all I want is a victory and for my boys to make me proud just like they have this whole season. Nervously optimistic, scared of the outcome, but absolutely CANNOT FREAKING WAIT.
****ing love it. At the end of the day, when all the predictions are out the door, all that matters is if you get that W and if not all hell breaks lose.
If every goal the Senators score is off a bad bounce, missed call, ref gifts or otherwise fluky plays, you can blame the GDT, until then please don't be ridiculous, thanks.
Edit: Loffen and DTB, that didn't take long, did it?
No matter what happens tonight I think that this should be stickied...even if only the first post. Too much awesome to let slide away to nothingness.
On to the game:
I was a nervous wreck prior to game six. I'm the only one I'm sure
I honestly feel like the Senators had their chance to win this series. And missed the boat.
Hagelin was out for three games. Three games we missed his ability to gain the zone. Three games the Rangers options were limited. Three games with no Hagelin, Richards, Gaborik (even if he has been invisible). Three games where honestly, the Rangers looked like a ****ing mess. Although admittedly less of a mess in game five. Anderson was really good that night. Those three games were Ottawa's window.
Henrik stole us game three. We got Hags back and I don't think it is any secret after watching game six how much he brings to the table. Ottawa could not handle it. And the fact that we are the beneficiaries of another young gun in Krieder...who honestly has performed beyond anyone's expectations. He has been a wonderful surprise. I certainly did not expect him to contribute so much so soon.
This team played all season for game seven home ice. This team has responded all season when their backs have been against the wall. This team gave many of us here a nice donkey punch when so many people thought the were dead on their feet in period one the other night.
Everything from this awesome year goes down the drain if we don't pull this one off! the other team is just happy they aren't a lottery pick! we have to be hungrier!
We need a repeat performance of Monday. We know you're capable of this boys. Just execute.
I, unfortunately, have to work a shift 2:45-9:30 today. Tried to get out of it, couldn't. I will be DVRing and watching as soon as I get home. So frustrating.
I can't see the lines well, can someone post them without the graphics? And if Anisimov is in fact on the 4th line over Feds that's just plain wrong. Anisimov is better than a 4th line player. We're just hurting our 3rd line.

It's the NHL preseason. The Blackhawks were playing a swiss team called "ZSC Lions". They surprisingly lost it, 2-1. It was the first win of a swiss team over a team of the NHL and a huge sensation.
Random fact: The Lions failed to win the cup of the swiss league in this year.
Well, 2 years later, the Lions were able to achieve the trophy. And guess, which team they swept on the way to the finals. Correct. A team named EV Zug.
So Zug wasn't able to win the cup in the year of their victory over a team from the NHL either.
Now the final question:
You guys remember, who won the Stanley Cup in the 2009/2010 season?
Just here to say:
I will root for you guys this evening. And wish you guys a deep run this year.
Greetings
A neutral, swiss hockey fan
With logic like this your more then welcome to no longer be neutral and become a Rangers fan.
