The Official Blackhawks Trade Proposal Thread

Make all your trade proposals here, my thinking was just so we don't litter the forum and make it spurt black smoke and oil as the servers get overloaded so much that the boards creak to a slow, loud stop.

David Toews for Andrew Ladd.

But put the "David" in very fine print so we can hopefully trick Winnipeg.

Rumor is Jordan Staal could be available, I think we would be a fantastic addition to the team but would almost certainly cost one of our core players. Does a deal based around Staal for Sharp or Hossa sound good?

Let's just make this clear and avoid a lot of frustration. Byfuglien, Ladd, Versteeg, etc... are never coming back.

Same here. I'd love to see Staal in a Blackhawks jersey

I would trade Sharp to get it done. I'm sure we have to add to make the deal work, however.

For Staal? Only if he is resigned prior to a potential trade. He only has one more year left on his contract, and Sharp is signed thru 16-17.

Sharp for Staal actually makes a lot of sense for both teams

Haha, no. At this point they are pretty much the same, with a slight edge to Marleau, but it would be basically a lateral move.

To SJ: Bolland ($3.4M x 2), Stalberg ($875K x 1), Frolik ($2.3M x 2)

To Chi: Thornton ($7M x 2)

Sharp-Toews-Kane
Saad-Thornton-Hossa

No chance San Jose does that. They would probably want a highend prospect & a 1st instead of the baggage you added (Frolik).

No. You could probably get him for Stalberg if you wanted. They'd love to get out of that deal.

Like Sharp, he's better playing on the wing.

OK - make it Bolland, Stalberg and 2012 1st.
