Think I would have gone with Floyd, but I can't complain at all about Gilmore. Very glad we didn't wind up with either Barron or Kuechly.

Me too, especially Barron. They may think they can get a WR later, we'll see later.

He might not be there at 42. And if Martin or Adams is there, I think I'd much rather them take OT.

However, you can't rule out the Bills trading up with one of our 4ths.

I wonder if these guys will remember the hugs from Goodell after he suspends them for wearing the wrong socks.

I might hate Michael (Cokehead) Irvin more than Pierre McGuire.

Gilmore was a safe, solid pick. There was very little doubt after Kuechly came off the board. He should start opposite Williams this season.

In fact, the only starting position on defense even in question is strong-side backer IMO.

Coples to the Jets.

No OL taken yet...which means there will be a run right before we pick at 41.

Gilmore looks pretty solid. Looks like a hell of a tackler. Don't know much about his coverage skills, which is scary, but borne of ignorance.

Hearing coverage skills are good/need work/leave a lot to be desired. What's the story?

Pretty happy that Kuechly went ahead of us. Did not want.

I'm disappointed not to get Floyd but at the very least we picked D from the SEC. This guy had outstanding measurables and shot so far up people's charts that some scouts had him not just ahead of Kirkpatrick, but Claiborne. With he and Williams, we have a pair of big young CBs that should suit our defense well in the modern NFL.

They didn't. They took a guy the Pats really liked in Shea McClellin.

Good job Bears

And I wouldn't trade up for Reiff. I wasn't sold on him at LT.

(The Bengals may be dealing #21)

I'm a little surprised the OLs are sliding. They are flawed prospects (except for DeCastro), but still extremely valuable.

Titans take Wright, so take him off the board at WR.

According to Schefter (picks not yet announced), the Lions and Steelers take:

Spoil:
Reiff and Decastro. So here comes the run on OL...
