Lol a bunch of the same Rangers fans who were praising Holtby in his gif thread are now saying he'll probably start sucking in the 2nd round.

Okay everyone I hope you had a laugh with my joking. But let's keep it within the lines. We have our culture of dealing within each other. But let's keep our friends from up north feel comfy about joining our bandwagon once they hit the tees.

I will say at times some of the babysitting for a variety of teams fans and their masculinity is absurd.

If the Caps are lucky enough to advance to the ECF, IMO, there will be no room on the Caps bandwagon for any NYR fans.

Yes the contrast between Boston fans last series and what has taken place barely an hour since the match up was decided is hilarious.

After watching the Sens dominate the Rangers quite a bit in the offensive zone, Hunter's gotta scheme the offense to move through the points, right?

And it would seem to make sense to counter their speed with Orlov instead of Schultz. But what do I know?

History teacher coming out.

On a bit of a side note, who exactly as a Caps fan is saying we're going to the finals?

I also enjoy the same song from the Rangers, "This year we're better..."I think I need to make a sign.

I think I have enough of those kind sir.

With my luck I'm going to say KGB or something and it will be "offensive to Russians" or something nuts.

He could probably match Jeff Schultz's 0 SOG in the first series pretty easily. And he might fare a little better in one on one battles against Dubinsky too.

That last 9 min I watched was amazing puck possession and chances. Ragners are lucky.

Maybe if he spins him the other way, it'll straighten out Schultz's ankles!

I think it's safe to say that with HunterHockey, this will probably be another tight series. Caps should have a good chance, for sure. Rangers have been good this year, but the only player that I'm "afraid" of is Lundquist.. but a lot of that is the mental game, and the Caps know that they've beaten him before.

Caps had the bonus of Staal and Girardi playing 30+ minutes in last years series. They should be able to spread that work load out a bit. Maybe we get lucky and Torts "hard matches" against Ovie again. Hopefully Boyle misses a couple games and Caps maybe take a penalty or two to keep Callahan's hand nice and tender. The addition of Kreider makes the top six better and hopefully the change in style from Sens to Caps makes him look like a rookie a bit more. Their bottom six doesn't compare to Boston's imo, and all the points came from top six and D. Caps handled the Boston's top six well so not a bad overall match up.

Am I crazy for thinking that the Caps will be the most vulnerable defensively in this series on the PP?

74-52 at the points of PP1 for me.
