If there was any playoff series for Rinaldo NOT to play in, it's this one. The Devils are already pulling their own players out of scrums. Rinaldo will bring even less than he usually does to this series.

How about Harry Z?
Lightning fast, hits and checks, can be a real pest and last but not least he is well rested....

Id say they are way more physical than us to be honest.
Poni? Did you really put Alex Ponikarovski on that list? And Zubrus. Those dudes are incredibly soft. And Volchenkov hasn't done ****.

But the more I think about it the more I believe the Flyers gotta start taking people out this series. Zajac, Greene, Larsson. Somebody needs to go all hitman on these guys and take them out one by one. That might sound ****ed up but if it gets you the win then do it. Also, I woke up drunk today so if this post is ****ed up blame it on alcohol.

[QUOTE=Ryker;49293703]Yeah, I figured the answer would be that it's because they're an "easy" opponent. I guess some people never learn, and the underestimation of teams continues. You're asking me if I've been around for the last 15 years, but I think the question should be whether you've been around for this year's playoffs.

Dude, every year there's a team that goes a couple rounds and looks dominate and beats great teams and then somehow doesn't get it done. last year it was the lightning, year before that it was the canadiens, it happens every year. It's cool if your buying into the coyotes as a cup winner but I'm not. i think their playing as a team and their playing really well and aggressive but my point is that if we are good enough to get to the finals, i don't think were losin to the phoenix coyotes. it would suck to miss an opportunity like that. no team in the playoffs is "easy" to play but come on, this is turning into one of those weird years where everything seems set up for us and i just want to make sure we seize this shiznit. p.s i obviously suck at working this quote response set up so i guess that defeats me trying to not sound retarded.

Its true though. Hartnell has been useless this series unfortunately. He should def go hitman and start eliminating people. Him and Simmonds. Whose gonna fight them, Clarkson? See how well that went in my avatar.

I'm still drunk wtf.

Are you serious? We and the flyers are all saying that we need to be more physical. Need more energy. Just tell Ronaldo to play half speed and he brings that.

Playing against a team with a lot of injuries and a D that can be worked over a bit and we haven't been hitting. I think Ronaldo could be the one to get things going.

You want more energy, but the guy who you claim is going to provide it you're telling he can only play at half the speed?

Again, already have lost that battle.

Yeah, I'm sure Rinaldo will turn the whole series around with his 3 minutes of ice time and 4 minutes in the box.

never know, maybe he'll take out Parise with a big hit, bounce off him, pinballing into Kovalchuk and Zubrus

Sestito should play.

I love Rinaldo but he is too small to do what he is there to do.

Well on the bright side they can practice their shot blocking when he is on the ice since they'll be pinned in their own end.

sure lets start a guy who hasnt played in 2 months into a critical game 4. A guy who just a bigger version of Rinaldo. i would take Couturier at 50 percent then either Rinaldo or Sestito.

Just a reminder. Every game starts with 0 - 0 on the scoreboard.

I am fine with that, I just don't like the numbers at the end of the game.

So Flyers fans do we cheer for Richards and Carter to get a cup in LA if the Flyers get knocked out?

Still have hope left just throwing the question out there. I honestly would rather that than seeing the Rangers or Devils win it.

Honestly, if Quick keeps it up, they win the Cup. No doubt.

Playing against a team with a lot of injuries and a D that can be worked over a bit and we haven't been hitting. I think Ronaldo could be the one to get things going.
it's not just about hitting it's about seperating a guy from the puck. The Flyers have too many guys that can get in on the forecheck but aren't winning one on one battles. Read, Wellwood, Briere, Giroux, Coots aren't getting it done. They could really use a guy like Sestito in the lineup more then another speedy small guy like Rinaldo. Someone to wear down the Devil's D.

On the other end, they have 3 d men that just can't win a one on one battle (Kimmo, Carle, Gus) but they have no one to replace them with. Kubina, Mez and Bourdon would be a better fit but they are all injured so there is no place else to go.

I really think they will win. They have been the most impressive team in the playoffs by far this year.

Its easy to look impressive when you play ***** teams. Van is way overrated. Blues are horrible. LA will pound the Coyotes. Then against the East.

Well, it was a fun Flyers season. They obviously are spent from bouncing Pittsburgh because they have shown nothing in this series. Sad thing to see considering we should be beating these guys.
