Will be there tomorrow! Pretty pumped for any form of playoff hockey live haha! It's awesome that all of our top prospects are down there right now and it it will be good to get a glimpse of the future!
How do you guys feel about it being a 2-3-2 series? By that I mean Marlies get first 2 games at home, Heat get next 3 games(if necessary) in their arena & the last 2 games(if necessary) are at Ricoh. I personally have mixed feelings about this format.

The NHL tried that format in the early 90's then abandoned it.
It should be a 2-2-2-1 series. Home team gets four of the first six. If they cant close it, they don't deserve the 7th game.
In this case - it's perfectly fine. It's crazy travel if you think about it from the AHL's perspective.
One thing to keep in mind is that the City of Abbotsford covers all loses from the Heat, and also puts some funding towards travel for the visiting team.
Going from 2-3-2 to 2-2-1-1-1 adds 2 extra trips IF the series goes 7, that's 2 trips for about 100 people via airfare.
Did any who went to a Rochester game get the feeling I can't go down and buy tickets on a whim Tuesday or Thursday night? Or is there likely to be seats available near game time?
Damn, I wished I lived in Toronto, I'd love to sit in the platinum's at a Marlies playoff game.
I used to buy the package the Leafs offered where you get 2 tickets to a Leafs game and 2 platinum tickets for 4 Marlies games. I did that for 3 seasons at least and was so impressed I bought playoff tickets. Sometimes it's amazing to sit up close but depending on where you are, it might be better to sit 10 rows back. The reality is there's no bad seat in Ricoh.
I just bought myself a pair of tickets to tomorrows game. Going with a German friend who is going entirely because of Holzer and Muel
I'm thrilled they're playing the Heat - will try to go to maybe 2 playoff games out in Abbotsford. Hope to see Kadri this time around
I'll be there too. I picked up tickets yesterday, right along the glass. I was surprised to find out that I could, more or less, pick exactly where I wanted to go. I hope they sell-out by Saturday.
Toronto coach Dallas Eakins expects the series to go six or seven games.
“They’re probably the best team we saw in the last 20 games,” Eakins said. “They have big, physical forwards and more offence than Rochester. . . . They have D-men who can play a shutdown game.
Not at home right now so I can't check schedule, but is tonights game on Leafs TV?
It's on Rogers.
I just noticed something of complete BS, the schedule to reduce travel is, 2 at Toronto, 3 at Abbotsford and 2 at Toronto. I find that to be really unfair for Toronto. Games 4 and 5 are incredibly important, and they get both?
Hey, I picked up the marlies playoff 4 pack, which comes with a free parking voucher. Me and my friends plan to get nice and toasty so driving is out of the question. If anyone is driving down to the game and wants to park for free, shoot me a PM and first person to do so gets the voucher. (include email, that way I can email it to you, its a pdf)
I'll be heading out around 5, so if no one messages, I'll try to hand it out over there.
