Thanks, but I got to stay here and finish a paper during intermissions. I'll just have to deal with crappy online streams.

I'm really excited to attend the game but I am concerned about how the attendance might look in the first period with the game being 1 hour earlier than usual and on a Friday evening no less. It'd be nice if the arena is packed from the opening lineup and the building gives the Coyotes the respect they deserve for bringing this round to Arizona.

In my opinion the past month is the highlight for the Coyotes are a franchise, and this season is the most notable one to speak for. The demon's have been exorcised regarding Doan's hat-trick and getting out of the first round. Now it's time for this team to compete like they are trying to win it all.

Nashville is an excellent team, and if the Coyotes were not in it at this point I think I would be picking Nashville to go to the Finals. Smith will have to be every bit as good as Rinne for this series to last which is a big step up from Crawford last round. Offense needs to start flowing on both primary and secondary levels which means guys like Vrbata, Doan and others to a lesser degree need to get it going.

OEL has a chance to draw attention to himself playing on the opposite end of the ice as guys that have garnered attention like Suter and Weber. He has proven to be the team's best defender.

Hopefully Yandle can enjoy the ride and loosen up just enough to get his head on straight. Five points in six games of the first round is impressive, but let's continue to see more of that.

Excellent post and I agree except that at this point I don't care how the attendance looks. There are about 1100 tickets left on StubHub and even if those tixs are not repurchased, some of the original owners will use the ticket.

I entirely expect it to start out a little sparse but fill up by the mid-point of the first period. That's the pattern for pretty much every game, even weekend games or games that start at 7. It would be nice to be full from the get-go, but an early start on a work day is going to make that awfully difficult for a lot of people.

It's the time difference. "Just right" for one will be too late or too early for the other. As it is, the game starts at 8 PM Nashville time; any later, and the ratings might take a serious hit.

All of them are healthy. Aucoin was never hurt, Tippett just decided that he sucks.

Can't wait for this game to start. Anyone know how many players we missing for this round, besides Torre's of course?

What kind of name is "predator" anyway? I never thought about it before today, but it's really a terrible name. I like their club and all, but it makes me think of rapists and pedophiles.

Do they have a mascot? Like some disgusting, dirty, chain smoking guy in clown makeup who hangs around the arcade in shopping malls or something?

Now that you mention it, their team bus does bear a striking resemblance to an '88 Econoline with no windows.

Wait a minute, what are you trying to say about people who drive '88 Econolines?...

Ten mins to wamups. Very empty.

The white out concept seems to be a bit confusing to some. If you are enough of a fan to actually own a $100 red or black home jersey, aren't you a big enough fan to know to wear white?

Haven't seen scratches yet. I was really surprised to see Schlemko in the last game, I doubt he'll be in the game tonight, but who knows. Tippett said he expected to have a healthy roster to pick from, which is good news.
