Yea there was an article posted in another thread where he said he wouldn't mind backing up Thomas next year and taking over the year after.

Boston dominated g1, that game looked mire like 4-0 than 1-0.

They dominated the 1st period of g4 and had no business losing
that game.

They dominated most of g7 Imo also, but couldn't exploit a very suspect Wash d Corp.

I dont know if theres more to this... but i woud like for Rask to just say my goal is to be the go to guy, show the team he is the #1.

Thats why I don't understand people saying the B didn't deserve to win the series. As if the Caps did. The Bs carried the play for the most part, while the Caps collapsed and waited for turnovers to counter attack.

Sounds like the same thing we were told by Vancouver fans last year.

That was the case in Van, but certainly not in Boston.

Have faith in Chia....he's been a damn good GM for the Bruins!

I don't think anyone would be saying the Bruins deserved to win this series if Wash outscored them 23-8

I'm just pointing that out. No one "deserves" to win except for the team that advances. We got mad last year when we were told Vancouver "deserved" to win, that they were "still the better team" and that they were "tired and beat up" and yet we're dropping the same rhetoric now that the Bruins lost.

Washington shut the Bruins down, blocked every shot, and actually looked like they cared it was playoffs. They absolutely deserved to win and that's why they won.
