Lack keeping the Wolves in the game as Matson takes a high-sticking penalty and then a minute into it the Wolves take a too many men penalty. Lack killed the resulting 5-on-3 and just now made a save on a 4-on-2 rush as the top line turns it over. Getting so tired of the way that line is irresponsible with the puck — you can see why all of them are in the AHL, a lot of fancy plays that if they work result in goals and if they don't result in goals against, and then very little actual effort defensively.
Wolves going on the PP as Schroeder races down the RW, enters the zone, dumps the puck in, then skates around the D, gets to the puck, lifts the defenseman's stick and comes out with the puck but the D takes a high-sticking penalty on him trying to get the puck back.
Matson playing well aside from that penalty he took. Lack has been all-world like in the two previous games. Pretty crap hockey 7 periods in a row by the Wolves and yet they're somehow in this series, so weird after the way the first two games went.
Lack was outstanding in that period. Be weird if he came here next year and pushed Schneider in a back up role. Not looking to see that happen but he plays like this and he's a factor here next year.
It's a weird situation for the Canucks. They currently have 1 proven Top 10 goalie and 2 potential Top 10 goalies (with high likelihood of reaching that potential). If only we were this good at scouting and producing talent at other positions.

Thought every line but especially 1st (Reinprecht) and 3rd (Schroeder) needed to pick it up defensively. Very careless so far.
