That's certainly true. And if Holtby gives up less than 2 goals, that'll start rattling their offensive confidence, too.

And the opposite isn't true, since the Caps have 2 series worth of memories to draw on in which they found ways to beat Lundy.

Guess I'm not allowed to edit my posts, but I do love that Semin is getting all of his favorite goalies this year.

Anyone think we'll see Ovi and Backstrom back together more during this series? I think it was a good choice forcing BOS to essentially pick their poison between Ovi and the Backstrom - Semin line when sending out Chara- - Seidenberg, but NYR has no pairing on that level but a much better 2nd pairing.

Also - didn't the speed of the line of Chimera - MoJo - Laich give the Ranger's defense some trouble last year?

With there being a good chance the Rangs will be missing both Boyle and Dubinsky. We need to come out on game one and put our foot on their neck and not let up. We can’t let them steal a game missing two key players.

Gonna do something unusual (for me) and root for the team that just beat mine. I don't hate the Rangers, but I'd like to see you guys wipe that smug smile off Tortorella's face. Good luck

Beags taking the opening faceoff between Ovechkin and Brouwer. That line matching already begins
