Go Heat! Troy Ward is going to have his guys playing like a fine tuned machine. It's almost a blessing in disguise that the Marlies have home ice advantage because the Heat are a top-3 road team in the AHL, so I like their chances.
does anyone know if Percy will be in the lineup tonight, im going to game and rly hope he's in. they just got blacker and lashoff back but would either put Percy out of the lineup???
Wait, Aliu was not liked by a team or coach? That hasn't happened before?
This guy will be in Russia before too long...
Ward benches guys for bad games, he even made Kolanos as ahealthy scratch after a couple bad games, this is no different Ward has had nothing but praise for Aliu and likely just wants to send a message. The second he is unhappy with another player Aliu will be back in the lineup.
This is a toss up. As a TML fan, I root for the Marlies. But as an Abbotsford citizen, I fully support the highest level of hockey that this city will ever see. The Heat are playing some of their best hockey in the club's short history, unbeaten in eleven games!
I'll be happy as can be if the Marlies win, but I would love it if the Heat moved on. Go Heat!

if you make it to some of the games I am sure I am speaking for many when I ask i f you could post your thoughts on both teams since it appears you are pretty impartial and your bias lies with both teams
I am really loving the Heat at the moment and I hope all Flames fans can get behind them.

I hope to make it once the series shifts over to Abbotsford. Was given tickets to the third and deciding game against Milwaukee in the opening round. The Admirals have some very nice looking uniforms.
It's such a different team when the Heat have all of their players, and aren't replacing Calgary's call ups with no-talent scrubs. Most of the games I went to this season were very one sided, as the lack of chemistry with the fill-ins really showed. But the best thing that the Flames did for the team was pick up players who can be counted on for offense at the AHL level, especially Clay Wilson and Ben Walter. The Heat did the rest, signing up quality AHL level players like Krys Kolanos and Hugh Jessiman. Kolanos' NHL prospects were ruined along with his hip, but at this level he's very effective in the offensive zone. Just so long as his cherry picking doesn't hamper the team on defense.
