I'm optimistic. I think RG3 + Garcon is good for one or two miracle wins. 8-8.

Offensive line problems still seem the worst area for les skins. Still bitter about the 18 million cap loss for this season and next. Still so BS. FU NFLPA.

You should be more embarassed that the team was so pathetic the years they were gaming the system. FU Snyder and Co.

Err gaming the system? If they were it was gaming for #fail. Last time the Redskins "gamed the system" was when Jack Kent Cooke was paying backup lineman starter money pre-salary cap days, heh.

If anyone was "gaming the system" it's the teams that took the uncapped year, and didn't spend close to the floor and pocketed the extra money. I am still waiting for the NFL to come down on them for not "honoring the NFL's competitive rules." or whatever the idiotic term was.

That and IRing young players to have them run the scout team, specifically QB's. What happened to you Redskins? you used to be cool.

Cousins should get injured in that 4th preseason game. Make a tear come to Gibbs's eye.

I got a laugh out of Morgan and Hank having to leave practice early because of the heat. It sure wasn't very hot. I think the H stands for... hangover. Drink your water before going to bed boys. But being our injury prone wideouts, who knows. I don't buy the flu excuse for a hot minute.

7-9 / 8-8 is reasonable. I don't expect the team to contend for the postseason immediately, maybe in a few years.

Stan Humphries and Mary Rypien had their "chronic" groin problems for years before they actually were placed on the active roster. Gary Clark also suffered from the same affliction, but only to get out of practice during the week. Ah the good old days.

I am thinking Chris Neild might also be "injured" in much the same way because the guy was probably going to be cut unless he got "injured". I say that because he didn't sound "injured", or worried about a potential season ending "injury", when he appeared on 980 Monday, then the next day he was placed on IR. Oh wait, thinking it over Neild got "injured" in the practice right after his 980 appearance. Joke on 980 is that Thom Loverro's love affair with "The Pocono Punisher" jinxed Neild. Still think Neild's ACL "injury" came at the right time.

i think having rakers in for kicker is worth 2 wins. Just think off how many missed FGs and extra points over the last 2 years that have cost the skins.
Skins alway played close games and having RG3 and Rakers should help us score alot more points this year. Defense should be solid like always. 9-7/10-6 is not out of the question if RG3 can carry the load.

Gano wasn't bad last year. I think he missed 10 FG's last year and 5 were blocked. If its close between the two I hope Shanallenhan favors the younger Gano. Would hate to see him get cut and head off to another team and become a pro-bowl kicker like Akers. The Skins need a kicker worth a **** for the next 5 or so years.

I believe Cousins would have to make the final 53 roster to be IRed properly. When I read about Neild getting IRed I thought I saw he had to pass threw waivers before he could be placed on IR. Not a big worry in regards to a former 7th round NT, but Cousins would be snapped up in a hot second.

7-9 record prediction from me. Defense will be solid, and keep the the team in the majority of their games, but O-line issues, RB depth issues, and rookie QB mistakes will hold the team back.

They probably need to go 4-2 to start the season if they want to think about the playoffs given the back-end of the schedule. I'm looking forward to RGIII and what should be a pretty disruptive defensive front seven but OL/DB are suspect and they still lack playmakers.

You can't judge a strength of schedule until the season starts. You just can't. It's why predicting records never works. I just know the Skins are mediocre. Anywhere from 6-10 to 10-6.

I think 5-2 isn't out of the question honestly if things go right. Best case...but unlikely.

Just wow. Yeah, continue to blame everyone but the ownership. Lord knows they've earned your trust.

Is anyone else beginning to literally fear for Griffin?

Let's be honest here, he has not been nearly as good as NFL network/ESPN suggest. I follow a bunch of Redskins media guys on twitter and it seems like every other day I read something about his inaccuracy/incompetence in the pocket.

I'm not suggesting he's a bust or will bust, because he won't. He's going to be terrific, but with the way these networks have been dissecting his play and the media as a whole acting like he's the greatest thing since Michael Vick.. It's just not what I want as a Skins fan. Less attention please.
