Anyone have surprise or big name cut predictions to share...

I am thinking Hankerson. Briscoe and Morgan just seem more polished than me, and we are crowded at WR. I think Austin and Armstrong get the ax. Banks and Robinson survive.

Reed Doughty always seems to hang on but I think its gonzo for him.

I think Willie Smith is gone but liked him at LT last year.

Cedric Griffin didn't play last night, meaning his sorry ass makes the 53 I guess. I like Crawford but their CB depth otherwise is rough.

I think they could go with 27 on O & 23 on D and still have enough defensive depth. Shanahan has said they're not wedded to 25/25 and that makes it a lot easier to keep 4RB+Banks. Hankerson should be traded if they don't want to make room for him.

If Banks stays Moss is gone. That is my surprise.

Other surprises could be Hankerson and Hightower.

And Cedric Griffin not playing is no garuntee. The guy is coming of knee injuries and hasn't looked very good in pre-season.

I have heard Moss speculated on and could see it happening, but knowing he showed up in supreme shape and is looking at being used in his possible most optimal position in some time, bodes well for him surviving the cut.

We are just jack stacked at young WR. Experienced, not so much. That's why I speculate Hank, who is just one more regular innocent looking tackle away from another hip thing. Briscoe and Morgan are young too, so hanks youth "let's give him time" mentality is actually working against him. They are all young now.

Well, Moss isn't a starter now, so it's not a huge stretch, but I would be shocked still.

If Hankerson is the odd man out in their minds, I agree with Langway. Trade him rather than cut him. There's someone out there willing to part with something for him.

It just seems like trades are so rare this time of year. Hell the entire league all year, in general.

Why give up an asset when you can scour the waiver wire in a day and get a different young wideout with similar upside coming back from a big injury, simply caught in a numbers game.

I wonder who would get snatched up faster, Hankerson or Briscoe.

I want to keep them all.... Austin and Armstrong are the 2 I want gone but only because I like the others better.

Hey maybe we will actually have some more trades this year...

http://kansascity.sbnation.com/kansa...week-8-ir-rule

I like the IR rule. Long overdue.

Super long shot cut candidate.... Rex. We are going to can him next year anyway, right?

If III can't go, I would rather Cousins get the reps. We drafted 2 QB's we like and already committed to rolling with a rookie. Why not commit to both.

Rex is a security blanket sure but I would rather keep someone young we keep past this year. Roll the dice, pick up a retired vet QB during the year if needed.

Cuts so far:

Eric Cook: No surprise
Jonathan Crompton: No surprise
Willie Smith: Not surprised, but...
Tristan Davis: No surprise
Trevor Bellamy: No surprise
Doug Worthington: No surprise
Grant Garner: No surprise
Bryan Kehl: Surprise. They kept the rookie Keenan Robinson over Kehl
Tom Compton: No surprise, will tried to be stashed on practice squad
Terrance Austin: No surprise, but I am disappointed. Always pulled for the kid to develop into a good slot WR.
Brandyn Thompson: No surprise

I wonder how good a camp LeRib had. I haven't heard much good nor bad.

Shanny said you dont keep a guy just because you drafted him over someone better.

I had assumed he was a lock to make the team but now I wonder.

Teams trying to trade depth guys before having to cut them. Several teams interested in Skins LB Bryan Kehl, for instance, who wont make WSH

Kehl not officially cut yet I guess. But clear he will not make the team.

He is 50/50, IMO. Hasn't blown anyone away at LG, but considering Keenan Robinson was kept over Kehl, and the fact LeRiebus can back up at LG and C, and also Eric Cook gone, LeRiebus should make the team.

Helped himself with an INT vs. Tampa Bay. RT @RavensInsider: Jordan Bernstine has made the Redskins' roster, according to an NFL source.

Bye bye Reed Doughty?

John Kleim is reporting on twitter that Banks made the team.

Interesting if true and means someone good is getting cut on offense.

*edit*

Speculation on twitter is Hightower might be in trouble.

Looks like six more cuts to go from what's been reported with three pretty easy to peg (Boyce, Quinn, Scott). Surprised that Doughty & Banks are both apparently safe.

WR(x2?), LB, DB seem like all that's left to possibly cut aside from THT.

He better not, I just took him in the 16th round of my fantasy draft last night.

All joking aside, if any of the current Skins RB's were in trouble with the addition of Slayton it would Helu, not Royster.
