Cedric Griffin didn't play last night, meaning his sorry ass makes the 53 I guess. I like Crawford but their CB depth otherwise is rough.
I think they could go with 27 on O & 23 on D and still have enough defensive depth. Shanahan has said they're not wedded to 25/25 and that makes it a lot easier to keep 4RB+Banks. Hankerson should be traded if they don't want to make room for him.
I have heard Moss speculated on and could see it happening, but knowing he showed up in supreme shape and is looking at being used in his possible most optimal position in some time, bodes well for him surviving the cut.
We are just jack stacked at young WR. Experienced, not so much. That's why I speculate Hank, who is just one more regular innocent looking tackle away from another hip thing. Briscoe and Morgan are young too, so hanks youth "let's give him time" mentality is actually working against him. They are all young now.
Eric Cook: No surprise
Jonathan Crompton: No surprise
Willie Smith: Not surprised, but...
Tristan Davis: No surprise
Trevor Bellamy: No surprise
Doug Worthington: No surprise
Grant Garner: No surprise
Bryan Kehl: Surprise. They kept the rookie Keenan Robinson over Kehl
Tom Compton: No surprise, will tried to be stashed on practice squad
Terrance Austin: No surprise, but I am disappointed. Always pulled for the kid to develop into a good slot WR.
Brandyn Thompson: No surprise
I wonder how good a camp LeRib had. I haven't heard much good nor bad.
Shanny said you dont keep a guy just because you drafted him over someone better.
I had assumed he was a lock to make the team but now I wonder.
He is 50/50, IMO. Hasn't blown anyone away at LG, but considering Keenan Robinson was kept over Kehl, and the fact LeRiebus can back up at LG and C, and also Eric Cook gone, LeRiebus should make the team.
