Yeah - I'm thinking Malkin will win the Hart and Henrik the Vezina.

Daily Double (Vezina, Hart) ftw!!!

Now all we need is Henrik Lundqvist to go into 'Patrick Roy mode' and backstop our team to the Stanley Cup and consideration for the Conn Smythe, then it'll be the Championship Quartet for Hank!

LOVE IT, even just to be nominated is an honor for Hank...I'd say he has a decent shot; as far as any single player's importance to his team, Henrik is the one!!

This one is easy.

Is Stamkos in the playoffs?
How many point did Malkin get against the Flyers?
Who was a constant in the Rangers-Sens series?

Congratulations, Henrik.

None of this "regular season" poppycock!

CONGRATULATIONS, KING!

I thought Giroux should have been a finalist. Malkin will win the Hart.

Yeah I'm kinda shocked that Hank got nominated over Giroux, but whatever, I'm not gonna be apologizing.

All of these awards are voted on before the playoffs start.

BTW, I have a hard time seing enough people voting for Hank winning the Hart and not enough for him winning the Vezina. I think he's got the Vezina.

Has anyone ever won the Hart from a team that was 8 points out of the playoffs? I'm curious.

Makin (sic) was definitely a force this season, but Pittsburgh is that type of team that would still have found a way to win enough games even without him.

But Lundqvist's value I think is indisputable. Without him, we likely would've been a 7th or 8th seed, possibly even worse. Looking at it objectively, and what the Hart trophy truly stands for, I'd say Hank deserves it.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this it all, that's fantastic news. Good for Lundqvist, he has been this team's MVP more or less since he entered the league. He probably won't win, but to even be nominated in the top 3 is an honor.

Given that the Pens played the vast majority of the season without Crosby, and a significant part without Letang, I don't think that's true.

Most likely won't get it but a serious achievement nonetheless for Hank. Just being nominated as a goalie is tough to do.
