Funny thing is my old blog was "Blueshirts On Broadway". I better be receiving a check in the mail from the Rangers for using that name.

They had the ice set up outside MSG too before game 1 yesterday right in the area to the left of the marquee.

To be honest, I had never seen those words together. I've seen Broadway Blueshirts, but not Blueshirts on Broadway, it sounds more like a broadway show

Disney on Ice isn't on real ice? I thought those shows are in arenas with ice..

Now to stay on topic, I might check this out. You guys think they'll allow autographs?

They always do with the alumni. Usually they have those player cards on hand that they have them sign and hand out to fans.

synthetic ice is the only way to skate outside in NY during its winter times. If I had the space (and money), I would definitely have it installed in the backyard

Synthetic ice I have skated on has been awful. Sliding all over the place, getting grease on my clothes. Nothing like the real thing. That being said, this stuff is probably higher quality than my local park's "glice."
