Joel Ward would be a good fit for the Flames. Bring him up!

Tom Renney. He's great at starting rebuilds.

Mike Kitchen should be out of a job this summer. He'd be perfect!

If not Troy Ward then Dallas Eakins from the Toronto system.

Too early to tell...

Need to wait out the remainder of the playoffs, and see who's out of a job this off-season before making any final decisions.

Troy Ward is making quite the case for himself in Abbotsford, though. If Flames decide to rebuild, Ward would be the best choice.

Renney, Ward, Blysma (if Pitts lets him go), AV?

I'd be fine with any of these coaches.

In all seriousness they should consider Michael Therrien, the Penguins old coach. If they go in the rebuild direction, which they should, he would be a great fit. He really helped the Penguins grow back through 2005-2008 all the way up until they made a Stanley Cup final appearance. He knows how to get his players to play defense and buy into the system and seems to know when to push the right buttons. I think he would be a good stepping stone for them heading in the right direction. He makes players accountable. His system could be a good fit in the west with some of the other teams playing similar styles.

I'm sure Ted Nolan would be a good fit if he wants to leave Latvia.

If the Flames decide to go the direction of a rookie NHL coach obviously Ward would be the logical decision, but I'm interested to see when/if Jon Cooper starts getting any consideration around the league.

Bylsma is a good coach, and IF Pitts lets him go (not saying they will), I think we should snag him.

I didn't say, "Oh hey lets steal him from Pittsburgh, because I personally know he will be fired."

Yes, you said if, but the very fact that he was mentioned at all is currently laughable.

It's like saying the Flames should hire Mike Babcock if Detroit fires him. It's blatantly obvious, but it's not worth mentioning because Detroit simply isn't going to fire him this summer.

Andy Murray had success with the WMU Broncos this year. I also think Mike Eaves could get a look.

I thought he was the GM since people seem to think it is his job to assemble a better team
