Huh, seems like there are very few players on each team that have won the Cup. We're not at much of a disadvantage in that department.

Brodeur
(Hedberg)

That's the one I actually care about. Could be the difference.

I don't think we should undervalue Patty's experience too.

Chere's article about Marty & Elias speaking to them after the game 5 loss to the Panthers really does speak volumes.

The balance of power between tested veterans, hungry players in their prime and young kids willing to learn is what has propelled this team into it's current success.

Todd Richards re-signed with the Blue Jackets for 2 more years.

Well... they played it safe. There wasn`t really any better candidate at this point. Wilson`s not a teacher and their finish was excellent. Let`s wait and see.

I`m sure that if he fails, the changes will be made much quicker this time.

I don`t.

While I don`t think he`s among the best, he certainly gets more bashing than he deserves.

I'm not surprised, I always felt he had one foot back out the door. But the team did seem to buy in, so I wonder how hard McPhee tried to persuade him to stay.

It's nice to finally have stability behind our bench and watch other teams searching for their new coaches.

Hunter takes them to 1 game from the ECF's, losing in a 1 goal game 7 and steps down? I don't get it. He must not like coaching at this level then. I thought he had them playing some good hockey and despite my dislike for the guy, he seemed to be good in the interviews too with the media.

I don't understand that one.

it's ok, they went forward in time and tracked that bear to find out it was going to get killed by a tree falling on it only 10 minutes later had the timeline taken it's natural course. This "kill" had no impact on the natural outcome of history.

Wait - what do you mean the Rangers won game 7 vs. the Capitals?!?!

*looks down sees butterfly on boot*

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

The speculation during the season was that he preferred coaching at the juniors level, and didn't want to stay in the NHL position long term. I guess the speculation was correct.

So Dale, you did a great job getting us 1 game from the ECF. Do you want to come back?

I said he wasn't a good coach in the regular season, and thought they should kept Boudreau. He did however do good with them in the playoffs, and took this team farther than the Beardless Santa Clause did after being there 4 years, and having Presidents Trophy, and winning the Conference twice wasn't it?

They did almost make it to the ECF in 2009 though losing in 7 games didn't they?
