Would be awesome if we could go in and win game 1 to silence the critics who feel we'll be a simple match for Philly. That would be awesome!

LET'S GO DEVILS!!

Those teams are the hardest teams to beat. Philly is overconfident and they should be after beating the best team in the east. But, Florida gave us fits all year and we never really dominated them. The games we won against Philly we owned them. To be honest I do not remember the losses but , I do know that they beat us on opening day so that does not count at all. We are a different team, we can we, it is there for the taking. LETS GO DEVILS

Everyone discounted the Flyers against the Pens too, so it goes both ways. Admittedly there are some real homers posting on the main boards from my fellow Flyer fans, but I'm sure most of you can agree...there are some of those in every fanbase.

Here's to a good series...best of luck...but not too much.

That's something that worries me too. In 2010 the refs ruined the flow of the game for both teams with so many bizarre penalty calls. Hopefully they'll swallow the whistles a bit more this time around.

I want to see Elias regain his clutch mantle, and prove again that he performs better against the Flyers. He was pretty quiet in the first round, we'll need him producing again to have a chance.

That did not work for the Pittsburgh fans, I'd rather our fans get loud with pro-Devils chants.

You cant compare 2010 to this year. I think our D is alot better and our D is not that great this year so in 2010 it was bad. lolol But, we won the jenning trophy that year I think.

This defence is better at handling a heavy forecheck. Also, I think our aggressive forecheck will be better at stopping the Flyers' breakout than the 2010 team was.

You somehow get this thing down to a best 2 out of 3, and I'm VERY confident in the Devils, and very non-confident in Bryz, who doesn't exactly have a stellar record when it's "all-in".
All I'm asking for is 3 more home games.

That being said, if they are going to get one of these two I think game 1 is the one to be had.

Interesting. I never leave individual team boards, I honestly dont think I've been to the main boards more than 3 or 4 times ever, I'll have to check this out.

It has swiftly descended into madness. I think I've had Bryz's season stats against us quoted at me at least 10 times by now.

It's a good point to make. As everyone knows past performance is indicative of future success. Everyone should sell everything they own and put it all into shares of AAPL. That will work well.

I wonder if these really are the shirts being handed out today BY the team?

If so, that's pretty unprofessional from a messaging standpoint, and pretty classless given the term "marking our territory" pertains to urination (although it's possible, if not likely, that the "genius" who came up with this is completely unaware of that fact).

For YEARS the Devils have made absolutely no attempt to market the team in South Jersey, as I've said, I think this should change. At very least, in terms of market saturation, there's a helluva lot more progress the Devils could make in that area to recruit fans than the Flyers can.

The other interesting thing to note is, what kind of an inferiority complex must you have to design a shirt like this?

When you live in a state where you can get a bullet planted into your chest for walking into someones backyard unannounced, I take that envy of my home as a compliment.

Seriously, my friend had a gun pulled on him in Bucks County when he was ATV'ing. It was something out of the Hatfield's and McCoy's.

The Philadelphia Flyers: Talking **** since 1975.

I like the Flyers shirts, every game they have something different on em I think and the Wach looks great in orange like that.

We need to get to Bryz early and often, then just keep our eyes peeled for ****bags like Rinaldo.

I think it would be pretty difficult to attract fans from South Jersey, because they naturally support the Philadelphia teams due to proximity to stadiums/arenas and they recieve Philly television coverage.

They could make the attempt, I suppose.

Don't know why we're even playing. I mean they have Couturier. And that Brzy guy. You know the 100% save percentage and the 0.00GAA and 66 shutouts against us. Absolutely no chance.

Here is Gimli's opinion:

They can have everything south of Forked River. Teeth and literacy come at a premium once you pass the Oyster Creek Power Plant.

Fits in with everything outside of the actual city of Philadelphia perfectally.
