yeah, he started skating on the 9th. Said he'd need at least 10 more days to be ready and now it is indeed 10 days later, 12 by the time game 4 rolls around. He might not be ready till game 5 however. It's all up in the air.
He should be fresh and provide some juice unless he's Ulf Nilsson circa the 1979 Cup Finals with that leg/ankle injury.
It doesn't matter what Dubinsky did or didn't do up to this point. He comes back with a vengeance in this series and anything plus and that is all he will be remembered for
Dubinsky would be a HUGE addition to this team, just in being an upgrade over Mitchell.
Good at faceoffs, throws the body, grinds, kills penalties.
Extremely overpaid, but a strong 3rd liner for us.
He's also one of the few forwards with the ability to transport the puck out of the defensive zone...huge factor against the aggressive Devil forecheck.
Johnny Malkin sits in favor of Dubinsky and if Prust is Shanabanned, then Zuccarello takes his place.
If Prust is out, I think Dubinsky takes his spot and that's it. And when Prust returns he takes over for Malkin. I don't think Zuccarello really figures in at all.

I think Mitchell is very useful. He's a good fit in our system. He's a bottom line player and isn't flashy, but he does a good job.
I wouldn't say Zuccarello brings nothing or has proven nothing, but I just don't think this is the best time to try to force him into our lineup again.
Why does everyone want Malkin replaced? Prust should sit. Dubi should be replacing him. Malkin has had a great postseason, really.
Amazingly yes. For all the **** everyone, including myself, have given him, he has actually played solid. Nothing spectacular but he has been relatively mistake free.
