The most important thing Mitch has done is playing mistake free.

Yes. Basically, if you're Torts, you tell Johnny Malkin to play the polar opposite of how you played in that game vs. Buffalo at MSG. Looks to be getting there. Baby steps.

of course, the rangers wouldn't do that. but just for conversation's sake.

Can't do that, if for no other reason than the team would be down to only 2 pairs if one defenseman gets injured or kicked out of the game.

What if one defenseman is injured/thrown out, and another takes a penalty. Now we have to have one of the blueliners take a full 2 minute shift on the PK. Does that seem like a good idea?

Rupp has cup experience and while he may not be playing well and he has taken some penalties, a yung team like the Rangers need all the cup experience they can get.

Richards, Feds and Rupp have cups. Those are the guys that the youngsters look at when preparing for games. See how they do it. See how they mentally prepare for the next crucial game.

You don't sit a guy like that in the PO's.

I believe Dubi is in tonight, and Mitchell is out when Prust comes back

And regardless of the year that Dubi has had, he's a MAJOR upgrade to Mitchell in every sense as a Hockey player.

getting a Dubi back for this round is a major shot in the arm to the team. This is a GOOD thing.

Dubinsky and Bickel both in blue contact jerseys taking drills in the morning skate...assuming it will be a gametime decision. Hope it is dubi

Dubinsky stays on late with Prust. Only two.

Scratches usually stay on the ice late. Looking like Bickel on the 4th line tonight.

I guess it's going to be Bickel on forward. I'm only joking, because he's so good defensively, but does anyone think McD has the skill to play forward? some of the moves he does, his puck handling, his speed, and his shot are all pretty good.

eeeeeeeeew. Not Bickel upfront? Scott would be about the same but atleast he has played more Forward

I would rather see Newbury. Seriously. Wellman would be the best option though

your just asking to ask right? You dont think they will move their top pairing Dman to 4th line F right? obviously not an option

I guess Bickel and Scott take the warmup and I rather see Scott.......although Newbury, Wellman would be better options in reality. I am going to say they wont play Miller just want him to watch the playoffs. Zuke and Dubi both have to still be hurt or one of them would be the guy

Yes, just wondering if people thought he had the talent to play forward.

I seriously doubt this is because Dubinsky ran to Tortorella and said, "I have a boo-boo! I can't play, because I'm a little baby." He played for weeks with a stress fracture.

If Dubinsky isn't playing tonight, it's because the coaching staff decided he wasn't well enough to play. Maybe his ankle isn't strong enough yet, and he's having trouble skating or moving laterally. Maybe he's still a little out of game shape. Who knows? But I seriously doubt it's because Dubinsky isn't manning up.

And I don't even like Dubinsky that much.

Dang, hope Dubinsky gets back into the lineup before the end of the series. Wouldn't mind seeing him go in for Rupp

Lmao, Yeah Dubinsky needs to man up, as if that decision is really in his hands.

He isn't a prancing fairy. He has been out a series and a half so far. If he was able to go he would be playing.
