You watch any of their other series'? Every game I watched in the Chicago series I thought Phoenix would lose 6-0. Then they'd somehow score goals despite not spending any time in Chicago's zone.

That's pretty much how phoenix's season was going, remember our games against them? Most were total domination and no goals, then one bad bounce, odd-man, boom. This is not a winning style but it's been doing very well for them so far this season. If Mike Smith slips even a little, they are toast.

But the Kings are also getting the bounces and strong play, so I'd be surprised if they were able to pull this one out of their *****.

Brodeur is about 80 years old and has not looked very good overall. It's up to the rest of them now, Marty has done his fair share over the years Personally I don't think they have a chance against NYR, nor any of the teams that are left.

To me it seems like it boils down to "can Kovalchuk and Parise destroy the Rangers and LA?"

Was filthy. Would have been a charge if it was face-to-face due to the 5 strides he took at full speed.

He's a piece of ****.

So is Smith.

Please. Watch the replay again. He glided from the hash-marks on.

EDIT: Looking at the replay again. He took MAYBE 2 strides and that was beyond the hash-marks.

There was absolutely nothing Doan could do at that point. It would've been a solid hit if Lewis didn't stupidly turn his back to the play.

Time to start appreciating Ducks fans. Because soon they're gonna seem like the humbler of our neighbors down south.

Take those purple tinted glasses off, Kings fan.

Neither Smith or Doan are dirty, and I'm rooting for the Kings. I dunno why NBC panel overreacting so much.

5 strides? He barely took 1 and it wasn't even close to full-speed.

You're going to be singing a different tune once you see the replay. Doan made some questionable hits in the past, but there was nothing he could do there. Lewis turned at the very last second, and he definitely saw Doan coming but decided to be stupid anyway.

Smith on the other hand, yeesh. Brown is one of the biggest divers in the game so I am glad the refs are calling some embellishments, but man did they screw up that one. Of all the embellishments they could have picked, they choose the one where Brown didn't do anything at all.
