OKC wanted it more and carried the play in overtime. The Rampage team that played most of the third period well wasn't the same team in overtime

Bummer. It is tough to look at it after that being so close, but at least they pulled a game out while up there. Can't wait for Monday

Not seeing the games so this may be unjustified: dammit Marky - 9 goals in two playoff games is not what I want to see from you!

You realize OKC is the #1 seed in the conference? Also if not for a dumb delay of game pen. in the last minute it would be 7 goals instead of 9. Markstrom is a big reason why SA won so many games down the stretch and won the 1st round.

That OKC line of Paajarvi-Green-Hartikainen is pretty damn good too, much better than anything Chicago had to throw against us.

AHL is not very familiar to me, which is why I started my post by stating that this is probably unjustified, but I still am not happy. That still goes. Obviously there's a ton of factors, but nine goals is not helping at mom.

Or, is OKC so good that one couldn't reasonably ask for anything better from Marky? Is that your point? Are you happy with his play in these two games?

And this will be my last negative post about Marky. I don't dislike him, but my posts lately look like I do. I realize that, and will not continue this way.

Markstrom admitted that his tending wasn't great game 1. Granted, OKC is the #1 seed, but Marky needs to be able to handle the AHL's best if he's to compete in the NHL.

Marky played better in Game 2 then he did in Game 1. Danis won the Baz Bastien award for goalie of the year in the AHL so he's not exactly a slouch. That being said he has looked rather ordinary in this series. Most games between the two teams during the regular season have been low scoring, one goal games. If you asked both coaches I'm sure they would say they never expected 10 goals in game 1 and 9 goals in game 2. I certainly didn't expect this. OKC may have the number one seed but I feel the Rampage match up well with them. Tonight I am expecting a low scoring, defensive game unlike the first two. It certainly stings that the team was 9 seconds away from having a stranglehold on this series. Stay out of the box and play sound defensively and I have no worries. 8pm tonight boys, hoiping for a good crowd in SA for the game but it will be rough as tonight is a closeout game for the Spurs in Utah and the games are both at 8pm EST. Go Rampage

The link is up on firstrowsports so hopefully it will still be there for gametime. I can't wait until Thursday night though as I will be in town attending Game 4 and hoping to see a clincher the next night in Game 5. A better start would be a good thing as they have fallen behind both nights. Im hoping Weber decides to play Shore tonight and that Selleck sits.

According to a tweet by Dan Weiss the Rampage radio guy, Drew Shore and Sean Sullivan are both on the ice for warmups but unfortunately Petro is not on the ice. Hope he is ok but can't imagine he's a healthy scratch so I don't know what to think of this.

Petrovic and now Howden listed as scratches tonight. Shore and Sullivan take their places.

Outshot 10-3 in the period. Not a good opening stanza for the Rampage. And as somebody mentioned the other night this OKC announcer is a tool and all over Markstrom.

Can we get rid of Chuck Weber ?

Guy not playing Petrovic and Howden tonight... Okay I can accept it for Howden, but Petrovic has been our most productive defenseman since the start and certainly not our worst D since the beginning of the playoffs... At least Alex didn't get a delay-of-game penalty the other night !

Never trusted Weber, but to me, that's one BIG mistake...

Sitting Petrovic ! Really ?

I lost the feed but it sounds as if they picked it up a bit that period. As for Petro I agree, Rampage radio guy says it's because he is a -6 and his turnover led to the GWG in OT for Game 2. He still needs to be in there in my opinion.

I don't care... Our young guys are in SA to learn ! I'm not saying I don't want SA to win, but I'm pretty sure a lot of Rampage fans would agree with me and would rather see the young and learning Petrovic than a career-AHLer like Sean Sullivan who is as prone as the rookie to make a mistake...

Maybe Chuck only wanted to send a message to Petrovic... But if we win this game, how can he put the kid back in the lineup ?

Petrovic assisted and scored some big goals for the Rampage during this run !

And what is worse... A turnover in OT or a delay-of-game penalty in the final minute ?

Shame on you Weber !

I completely agree with you and it's certainly disappointing. The Rampage have scored most of their goals on the PP. Id say Petrovic is a much better option than Sean Sullivan. Didn't understand Weber scratching Shore for Eric *** Selleck the other night and now this.

9 seconds away from a 2-0 lead and now they have 20 minutes to scrape up a goal to tie this game up. A bit more urgency and some luck would be nice or the team will be trailing soon in this series. 14 shots through two periods won't do it.

10:47 left in the 3rd period and OKC is still up 1-0. Rampage are going on their 3rd power play. Saying we need one here would be an understatement.
