I'm just going to sit back and cheer on Canada and put my personal feelings on hold until the regular season resumes. All these guys have put their lives on hold to play for their country and should be admired and supported by us all.

Todd Bertuzzi, Matt Cooke, Steve Downie have all played for Canada at the WC. I don't recall any ambassadors being recalled, any international sanctions levied, any Canadians forced to cover up the flag on their backpacks.

Hockey Canada thought Adam Mitchell was Jason Spezza:

Found it. I obviously paraphrased it coming off memory.

The story behind Seabrook is that he sucks and has little value without Keith.

Could we keep this about team "Canada" and leave the infighting and jabs about NHL squads and their players off this topic?

I'm here to cheer for my Country, not my favorite NHL players.

I like to watch a bunch of different Hockey games while studying and Vancouver is one of them. Burrows is very clutch, and is between a great-elite player.

He also has 117 Goals/ 316 Games in the his last 4 NHL Seasons (2009-2012) (30.3 Goals/per 82 Games). He would be on any other Team's Olympic Roster too probable. Love to see what he do in International Competition!

Since the Norris year, I would say that Seabrook has been the one propping up Keith.

Haha, no kidding. This thread is cattier than an episode of Real Housewives.

LOL!!! Thats probably the craziest thing I ever heard. Duncan Keith sucks. He had one lucky year and has sucked harder every year since then. Brent Seabrook however has only elevated his game to an entirely different level. Ask any Hawk fan who the best d-man on our team is.

We still struggle so much on the big ice. No coach has been able to figure out how to play the game on the bigger ice, or no team has been able to understand the coaches instructions.

Our angles are bad, and our gaps are bad. Hopefully we learn a lot every game.

#Habs announce Subban to Mtl. Will not participate in #WHC due to minor knee injury (approx 2 wk absence). T/B re-evaluated by team doctors.

Looks like young Ryan Murray will be taking the flight to Helsinki. Too bad for the loss but plenty of d-men out there to replace Subban if that's the way management goes. Wonder who'll answer the call, or if they'll just keep it the current 7 and see if Murray can be an answer. Not sure how Letang is but he'd be a suitable replacement for PK.

I really hope Seabrook is added to the team. Keith and him are familiar with each other and that's the key in a short tournament. Is he hurt by any chance?

If im not mistaken Canada can add two players after the first round is over. So Murray can step in now, then when we reach the qualifying round, we can add someone whose done in the playoffs
