What version of Android? My sister had the opposite problem with 3 Koodo phones - two HTC One V's, and a Galaxy SII - she finally gave up, kept the Galaxy, and doesn't use data over wifi - she CAN use data over the mobile network, but she's on a fixed income, so she doesn't bother - but with a lot of Koodo phones seeming to have similar problems, in my research, a lot of it seems to have to do with older phones being upgraded to or shipping with some version of Android 4.

Since this is a BB thread I am guessing it is not an Android phone? If it is then you might get more help in the Android thread.

Does that extra big batter include better battery life?? I would love to have a phone that would last me more than 12-15 hours with a full charge!

My iPhone is alright. I usually I get 8-10 hours of use before it dwindles down. My android (and 1 of the 2 the reasons I switched to iPhone - the other being that my Android would not for the life of itself connect to Netflix on 3G despite playing flawlessly on WiFi) was dying after 4 hours MAX, usually closer to 150-180 minutes. And that was with trying 3 different batteries. Just terrible. But either way, I'd love something that would last me 16-18 hours before I need to charge it.

Either way, I won't jump to Blackberry until they get Netflix.

The BlackBerry 10 browser is getting great scores/reviews so it should be able to run Netflix through the regular Netflix Site.

This might be the dumbest question posted in here to date, but I'm gonna go for it anyway.

If I enable wi-fi on my phone, but also have it connected to the Verizon network, and I open a webpage or Twitter or Facebook... Will I get charged data expenses for being connected to the Verizon network? Or will it automatically use the wi-fi and be "free."

9 more months on BlackBerry and then I'm off to Windows/iPhone!

(disclaimer: I don't mind my BB, it's just I don't know anyone else with a BB anymore. It was great when most of my friends were on BBM, but now I have, count them, 0 BBM contacts! )

No charges will be applied for data while you're connected to Wi-Fi. This is the same for any phone.

Saw the Nokia Lumia 920 in the mall and I was extremely impressed by the build-quality the uniqueness of the OS.

This is probably the best industrial design phone since the launch of the iPhone:

The BlackBerry looks much more sleek, subtle & sophisticated to me.

The Nokia looks like a dogs breakfast/Frankenstein phone to me.

But to each their own.

I just find the Nokia looks like a kids phone while the BB looks like an adults phone.
