Another pic of the first keyboard phone, possibly going to be called the X10.

It depends on the keyboard size for me. If the keyboard is large enough for my thumbs on the X10, I'll probably go with that phone, but if it's too small, I think I'll go with the Z10.

The Keyboard is said to be similar to the one on the Bold 9900.

There was some interesting news on the Skype front. CrackBerry.com reported that RIM released a new icon kit for the Dev Alpha phones that included Skype icons. It means nothing concrete, but could mean Skype is coming.

Earlier today I switched from a BlackBerry Bold 9780 to an iPhone 5, so I'm out of the BlackBerry family and joined the "Dark Side" as one of my friends told me.

My reasons was the lack of apps BlackBerry has compared to Apple and I have become frustrated with RIM over the issues I had with App World not being able to download the latest version since I had OS 6 and the icon doesn't appear on the home screen. Finally for the past few days I wasn't getting any e-mails, even after doing a few battery pulls or sending test e-mails to myself from the computer.

My Bold has finally failed me, trackpad stopped working and nothing I've done has fixed it. Can still make calls and even see and respond to text messages so long as I correctly guess the person who contacted me, so it is essentially just a telephone (how did we ever live like this?!). It didn't owe me anything. Took a lot of abuse at work and outlasted my friends' who suffered the same sand, water and general wear and tear from turfcare life.

The timing has at least worked out because I'm not ready to give up on Blackberry and my contract is up in February. Unlike others I never had any problems with my phone until now and I just love the feel. But I'm just not sure what I should get, the Z10 or the X10. Part of me wants to jump on the full screen bandwagon, but after seeing the X10 I'm not sure I see the need to go away from the keyboard I like so much.

Same here, I have been pretty lucky overall I guess because my phones have taken a fair bit of abuse and still work.

Well with Apple shares crumbling about 35% since the iPhone 5 it seems like Rim might have a nice little opportunity here to at least get back to profitability.

I have an iPhone currently until the Z10 is released and even I can't believe how horrible their marketing has been with the 5.

One commercial solely devoted to the new earbuds that come with it.
Another on the "do not disturb" option

Just brutal, perfect timing for RIM.

RIM seems to be getting good buzz in Canada and it some American publications. There was a nice article about RIM and its efforts to improve its app library in the Globe today, BNN had an interesting segment yesterday about how BB10 will arguably be the best mobile OS available and even Kevin O'Leary was praising RIM a couple of days ago on his show.

As for American news sources, sites like CNET have been showing some excitement over BB10 as well.

Blackberry really feels like a thing of the past, no innovative technology, design from the 90's, a slow and clumsy OS, I cannot see them turning it totally around with Blackberry 10.

With Windows Phone 8 as a strong contender for the corporate market they will have a tough time to regain any market shares.

Really? Maybe if you posted something that was informed in some way. BB10 is the opposite of everything in bold. Windows 8 has been out for a while and has not really gone anywhere so I don't see how they are suddenly a strong contender for the corporate market.

Well, I have not tried the BB10 so please list what is better in it compared to Windows Phone 8, iOS or Android?

Android got powerful support using Google tools, Apple got their own products which are popular (apart from their crappy maps) and Windows Phone got Office, Skype, Bing etc
