Hopefully that's the case. Either way it's going to be a big change for me going from getting multiple days on a single charge on my Bold 9700.

At least the battery is removable. I may have to buy one of these:

I found the voice over person pretty boring. Seemed like he was uninterested. Was good for the most part. For some reason it felt like the 3 second class room scene was an amateur film shot but not really sure why so that's just my stupid little opinion.

BlackBerry Fans Wait as Carrier Scrutiny Causes U.S. Lag

Even WORSE is that some OEM branded devices like the Galaxy S III were upgraded to before the Galaxy Nexus and the ****ign Galaxy Note II launched with Android 4.1 before the Galaxy Nexus got Android 4.1.

While I'm the first to say that a lot of tech journalists fall right into the "Apple Demographic" (aka. my nice way to say the tech hipsters ), I think the review by Joshua Topolsky of The Verge was pretty good.

He didn't really slam the Z10, but was really keyed in and focused (maybe unfairly to some) on the shortcoming of a very young OS. There weren't any killer features that would maybe make someone switch over from iOS or Android but certainly enough to impress first time smartphone buyers and existing BB users.

In my opinion, while the Z10 isn't going to wow people away from iOS or Android to move to BB10, I most certainly think it can please the Blackberry faithful and probably stop the hemorrhagic of users to iOS and Android.

That being said, I'm very impressed by what RIM (or BlackBerry) has done in effort to solidify the #3 spot in the smartphone market place.

This puts a ton of pressure on Microsoft with Windows Phones (as well as OEM partners, especially Nokia). I think BB10 has a real fighting chance to out do Windows Phone 8.

As far as denting iOS and Android sales, I don't quite see it happening.

I am disappointed by the battery life. BB users used to days of BB battery life will have a hard adjustment period to the iOS/Android status quo when it comes to battery life.

Other than that the Z10 looks like a solid offering for people who were tempted to move away from BB to iOS or Android.

My 2 cents.

That is very surprising. Not sure what it means and if it is totally legit.

Wait I thought that BlackBerry was dead and no one used BlackBerry anymore?

How could they possibly have enough users to stuff the ballot box? Shouldn't the almighty Samsung (Android) be in first place if that's the case?

One year too late for me. Switched to a SGS2 LTE last Februrary. That being said, I hope the Z10 is successful. Looks impressive. While I'm quite content with my current phone, I definitely wouldn't rule out getting a Z11 or Z12 when the time comes.

Truth be told, the only thing I didn't like during my BB time was the browser. But now that I've been on Adroid, I have gotten use to a few apps as well which are currently not offered so I hope they do eventually come around.

Congrats! If I remember correctly, weren't you going to get the X10?

Also, any idea when BB10 comes to the Playbook?

The good news, as mentioned a few post up, is that Andriod apps can be sideloaded onto BB10 phones. Also the new BB browser is suppose to be the fastest on the market and even faster then Google Chrome on a PC.

Yeah I was going to get the Q10 but after reading this on CrackBerry I decided to take a risk and go for the Z10.

" Normally we put keyboards into the hardware section, though on Z10 it's technically software. Old habits die hard though.

BlackBerry aims to have to the best-in-class keyboard experience, be it on touchscreen or physical keys. They've always had the best physical keyboards, and now with BlackBerry 10 they have the best software keyboard too. The BlackBerry 10 typing experience aims to be good enough to appeal to traditional two-thumb BlackBerry typists and in practice, I have quickly come to the love the BB10 keyboard. Most of us are thinking the Z10 will be the BB10 phone to have even when the physical keyboard counterpart device comes out. That says a lot."

http://crackberry.com/blackberry-z10-review

I've reserved a Q10 for my wife though so I'll see which one has the better typing experience in a couple of months.

I haven't heard a date as to when BlackBerry 10 will make it's way to the PlayBook but they have confirmed that it will be coming.

Not sure if anyone is a "race fan" in this thread, but I was somewhat surprised to see Blackberry sponsoring an F1 team for this season. Apparently $12 million a year for the next 3 years.

Money to burn!
