Just wanted to wish you guys luck, and let you know that you guys actually have a considerable following over here in Boston! Most of my smart hockey fans are pulling for you guys, and a poll on the Bruins board indicated that the majority seem to be on the Kings' side as well.
You guys have such a likeable team! Brown, Quick, Doughty, Kopitar...i know that regular season performance should be much higher than it is, but who cares. its about now, and seizing this opportunity.
A lot of people think that the reason your team has gained popularity is because you beat the Canucks...i think thats true but not because you beat "the bad guys" but also because so many people watched that series because the canucks were in it, that they also got to see what your team is made of and the great hockey you guys are capable of playing.
i would LOVE for the cup to go from the Bruins to the Kings. --> pants-tent
plus it would also be nice to hear about something besides the Lakers from LA....gag me (not because im a Celtics fan, but because i hate the NBA in general haha)

Thanks for the support. Plenty of room on the bandwagon, especially for B's fans.
let me tell you something right now: if the Kings make it to the next round, it is going to be like HEAVEN for Kings fans.
we Bruins fans went through it last year, the Bruins are still probably the 4th most popular team in Boston, so we are always fighting for attention/recognition. But once the Bruins made it to the conference finals, hockey interest/coverage was through the roof, and all of a sudden the true fans felt like celebrities.
i had friends who normally didnt care about hockey texting me everynight saying "what are we doing for the Bruins game?". bars were packed, bruins apparel/signs were everywhere. i know its bittersweet because its bandwagon/fairweather...but while its happening, you cant help but bask in it and EAT it up!! hope you get to experience that.
The only game I attended this year was the Bruins and Kings game, and was a bit heartbroken when the Bruins won. However, I congratulated the B's fans sitting behind me and wished them luck in the playoffs, and they said, "Don't worry, you guys will make the playoffs and do well."
Very classy fans. I was rooting for the Bruins to win it again if the Kings didn't win it.

Maybe we saw you ?
We were in row #3 on the tunnel. The fans in front of us were great and wished us luck. Most all of the fans told us how happy they were that the B's had won the cup because you all hate the Nucks. . Now it's your turn to win the cup.
Anyway I had fun there and enjoyed the LA fans. There are many B's fans cheering on the Kings !

We weren't in front of you, but we were a few rows behind you (I think we were row 8 next to the tunnel). We had some hilarious B's fans behind us that kept knocking Joe Corvo
Thanks for the support. It's going to be a battle to get through this round. I doubt St.Louis is going to roll over like the Canucks did. I think most Kings fans are happy to see us get into the second round with this group of guys, but now that we're here, we know we have the ability to do more damage.

Being a Kings fan in Canada, this is already heaven. The Blues/Kings game was the first highlight package of the night on most sports shows up here.
Usually I have to watch for a few hours after the game to MAYBE get some highlights. Now they are leading off. As a rare Kings fan in Canada (it feels like me and Holden are the only two in Manitoba) I felt like they had catered the show to me
Die hard Leaf fan here and have hated L.A since the Greatzky/Gilmour incident. O_o I think I love the Kings!!! omfg... I would love to see L.A beat Philly in the final.

Poor Joe Corvo. There has to be one player they can hate.
And Im supporting the Kings as well. Theres no reason for me to be bitter, you guys were the much better team. Im amazed by Brown after all the harsh criticism hes recieved, beasting like mad.
Not trying to jinx it, but I think a Philly/LA final would be quite a story.

That has to be NBCs wet dream. That series drama writes itself.
