Agreed, i honestly wasn't having much fun until level 10 where i got my own guns and then started having a blast every game

Ive been using mp7, grip, quickdraw, dexterity, toughness, hardline, blind eye, and grenade launcher.

That only seems to work in nuketown. Everyone map I suck in. But I cant play nuketown all the time cause every now and then they put up games I don't want to play.

I completely agree. I was struggling with the PDW and Vector until I hit level 20 and unlocked the FAL.

However, I don't understand why some of the more basic perks (for example ghost and scavenger) aren't unlocked until the higher levels.

Oh yeah, 48-3 using the FAL on Ground War, just wanna get that Select Fire attachment.

Edit: The very next game I go 50-3 with it on Meltdown.

Anyone beat the campaign yet? It was pretty awesome. Really entertaining. Now to finish out this prestige. I'm level 40 now, should be prestiged by Sunday night.

Me too. The only perks I'm using are Blind Eye and Dexterity. I'd use Ghost always but, well, you know.

Is the FAL really that good? I remember using it for a while back in my...well awful KD Black Ops days. Died too often with it. Right now I'm using

Type 25-Target Finder/Quickdraw
Lightweight
Toughness/Cold Blooded
Dexterity/Extreme Conditioning
No grenades or second weapon as I rarely use them as is.

Sometimes I have great games, other times I just seem to get killed before I even have a chance to take 3 shots (though that's partly part of my average wi-fi)

Then for my other class I decided to go with the Vector cause apparently SMGs are the way to go in this game. Same perks (the whole idea is to draw the weapon quickly and get it firing to make up for potential connection delays...I need a re-router pretty badly.) and I'm using reflex and laser sight and again I have mixed results. I'm also not too terrific at hip firing. Maybe that's part of why I have a mix between good and bad games.

Any advice for an average multiplayer guy who prefers to aim down sights and run around? I can get a lot of kills but I get killed a lot. Playing a ton of zombies and having a bunch of enemies that don't shoot back didn't help.

I know people hate shotguns but getting one shot kills with the R-870 MCS is so fun and satisfying.

I'm bragging too much I know but I'm honestly quite satisfied with how I've been playing so far. My k/d ratio right now is 3.42 and I've just unlocked the Scorpion Evo, which is a beast of a gun, easily the best SMG in the game.

I think my k/d ratio is somewhere around 1.35-1.40 which is good for me. I had a 1.49 on MW3 so I'm hoping to beat that by the time BO2 dies out.

Started using the first shotgun as my secondary weapon though. That really helped.

Well yesterday was a **** day It seems like all of the noobs found the best places to camp. Literally yesterday two of them were camping a small room covering both sides with bettys all over. You can defintly tell who didn't start on cod4/WAW.

My only lethal KS was lightning strike, so I probably had 75 gun kills. I wish I had HellStorm and another lethal KS, would have broken 100 easily.

I am STRUGGLING to do well in this game right now. Talking about e-penis size, I had a 2.65 kd in MW3 and a 2.3 in BLOPS and I am having a difficult time maintaining a 1.0 in BLOPS2.

Just gotta get used the maps. There are tons of windows and other places people can creep and wait for you to come around.
