This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw it. He's reaching out thinking Kadri would stop there and do the usual group hug

When Kadri's scoring big playoff goals in the NHL, it's going to feel great to rub it in the faces of all the fanbases that enjoyed every moment of us in the basement.

Yeah, that's the funny part. Fraser was clearly just trying to embrace Kadri and celebrate.

....as is customary in sports.

Happens all the time in the NHL. Nothing to complain about.

I watched the game - was nothing wrong with the kid's celebration at all.

It had less to do with the heckling and more to do with the checks/high stick he got in the game. He was in the trenches all game long.

I'm glad none of our fans are making a big deal of it.

I can not believe stuff like this becomes a story.

It happens all the time. Bryce Harper just had his first hit (a double) on the weekend and as he was flying passed first base he knocked his helmet off. Even the commentator said "I've never really seen that." He's known as a confident kid. NOBODY CARES.

Good for Naz. All this shows me is the dude wants to win and stick it in his opponents face. That is a great quality to have!

LOL so the same celebration that got everyone in an uproar here like a week ago is now in the paper?

Must be a slow news week. Also the 2nd round starts tonight? Kinda late for that innit?

Toronto and Windsor are further apart than Edmonton and Calgary, but Calgary has always been an Edmonton suburb anyway so you might be right...

Are you aware where Windsor is? It's a 4ish+ hour drive depending where you are in Toronto or GTA

Depending on traffic you could likely get to Indianapolis or Chicago before you could get to Toronto.
