Those Flyer fans are all-inclusive when it comes to death threats. Three generations shall burn for this.

That's pretty amazing, can't believe I've never heard of that until now. Although I guess it's not too different than any other place that rounds all the idiots on the 'net up into one place.

It's like a hockey-centric Youtube comments section.

Do people have no self control? Put them in a cell overnight until they calm down. Does Shanny employ someone full time to block these people?

For whatever reason, these 1 game suspensions seem to back-fire. If I had to bet on game 5, I'd say Philly will rally around this and pull out the victory and then in Game 6 they'll have Giroux back.

It worked for us when Neal got a 1 game suspension.

This is why I didn't like Trotz sitting Radulov & A. Kostichyn for game 4. It gave them something to rally around in Game 3 but that only lasts 1 game. Should have iced their best lineup for Game 4.

Their D is just atrocious. As long as the Devils don't lay back, I think they'll finish it out in 5.

I said the same, but Neal was not as important to us as Giroux is for them. They live and die on the PP, and the entire PP goes through Giroux. Not to mention the threat he is on the PK.

Also the Devils are a much more responsible defensive team, so it is harder to take advantage of a team like that and explode like we did on the Flyers in our game four when we missed Neal.

I can see it as a possibility, but just not likely.

Mr. Giroux, do you have anything to say upon receiving your 1 game shanaBan?

It's not like the Flygirls have done anything special with him in the line up, sans for last night's shorty.

Just as Jaded-Fan mentioned, he's way too important to the team for them not to be affected by this.
I can see the Flyers trying to rally with their backs against the wall but as long as the Devils forecheck keeps buzzing, I think this may get ugly.

Wow that's pitiful...Pens playoff tickets start at about $100 more than those and the demand should be far fewer given the population difference between the metro areas.

You all knew the Flyers would implode eventually. What a pure loser organization top to bottom, which are the fans.

And LOL at Kane - I don't know why, but I love that guy.

Seeing the Philadelphia fans in full mouth-foaming mode is hilarious.

Personally, I liked the one about fixed calls and games when they've been getting the calls this series and have players like Briere that seem insistent on diving.

I saw some of the death threats on twitter, are people really that stupid to post that crap. All it takes is one person to report it and they can be banned and possibly charged.

Btw I hope we can give your team a real treat by knocking the crap out of Philly.

During the 2009 run I had the Philly broadcasts on DVD and they had plenty of seats available.
i work with a couple girls from right around philly. them and their families have zero interest in hockey or the flyuers. their unpromted response was on their fans was "they're a lot of white trash"

People are brave when they can hide behind the shield of a computer screen. Plus a lot of people don't seem to realize that what they say on social media is real. They act like it is some sort of fantasy land where whatever they say cannot be held against them if something bad happens. Many times there are no immediate consequences so they don't think anything is wrong.

And good luck in Game 5. Hope the Devils know that when teams have their backs to the wall, that is when they are the most dangerous. And if that fails before Game 6 they should watch video of the 99 Pens~NJ series
