Rallying behind a team beating your rivals around is no fault :-).

Would laugh my behind off if Richards and Carter win a cup before "Ingenious Holmgren's Flying Circus"

May have been asked before but I take it most Pens fans are rooting hard for the Rangers and Devils?

Everytime Philly loses an angel gets their wings. I am loving their pain. Go Devils, as long as you play the Cryers you are my favorite team in the NHL.

As an aside, though I could care less how anyone looks, only how they play, but Giroux is one ugly dude. To the point that I actually noticed. It looks like he tried to glue the leavings from haircuts on the barber's floor on his face as some kind of psuedo beard. He was fugly to begin with, but he is hitting scary levels of cringeworthy of late.

Just the Devils, I don't really want either team to win the other series.

Against the Flyers (violently), and against the Rangers (strongly) for me. Not really for anyone as much as strongly against those two. Though I do not have anything against the Devils or even the Caps.

"What about me"?

The playoffs get really ugly and I find it weird that Giroux, Hartnell, and Voracek all kinda have the same scraggly look. But you wanna talk ugly, Couturier takes that cake for Philly.

Just the Devils. I cannot stand Torts and some of their fanbase so I really do not care about their series.

Devils, Caps, Rangers, Flyers. Not real sure how you can root against the Caps. Hard working team under a new coach. Ovy is struggling to the point where I want him to have a good series.

Watching the Devils on the PK against the Flyers, and watching them not surrender 8 goals a game against, makes me mad all over again at just how crappy our defense/Fleury/PK was against them.

That's pretty much how he's looked for half a season, IMO. The only time he's looked decent in that time was when he was playing the Pens, and even then, it had more to do with our team refusing to play anything close to an NHL level of defense than genuinely good play on his part.

I'm rooting against them pretty hard. I like Torts, way better than i could ever like ********* Dale Hunter, and i'd much rather see guys like Brad Richards and Brian Boyle raising their arms than prima donnas like Ovy and Semin.

I'm also throwing in with the Rangers this round. I don't know how any Pens fan could root Ovie, Semin, and Hunter, and I don't know how any human being could root for Mike Green. Blah.

I only caught part of the Devils game, but here are the Devils forward I noticed on the penalty kill:

Parise
Elias
Henrique
Zajac
Kovalchuk
Zubrus

What do they all have in common? They are the best Devils forwards. And yet we stick Staal plus our grinders on the PK. If freakin Kovalchuk can learn to play defense well enough to be on the PK, certainly Crosby and Malkin can. Ugh.

Dude, we have Craig Adams though. He's the best penalty killer in the world. It's also a proven fact that if you use your stars on the PK, they can't do anything else and they will eventually get injured.

I would love to see Mike Richards and Jeff Carter win the Cup in LA and one win the Conn Smythe trophy. That would be sweet.

Quotes from the game article on NHL.com.

"The Flyers were finished 1-for-5 on the power play and are now 2-for-16 in the series after going 12-for-23 in the opening round against Pittsburgh.

"They're coming after us [on the penalty kill]," Briere said. "We're trying to do everything by ourselves, we're not winning any battles by ourselves. We know they're coming hard. But we're not playing for each other. Either we're not winning our battles, or we're not getting in there to help someone out. They're shorthanded and they're outnumbering us to the puck left and right, and I include myself I'm in the group. We all have to be better on the power play."

Pretty damning for Bylsma and the coaching staff who refused to make changes.
