Wow, some of you have really forgotten about the Caps. How could any Pens fan wish the Caps to advance to round three?

Not surprised. Why play them if you can win without them? Good move by Nashville.

Yeah, I hope they don't play the rest of the playoffs.

I doubt Radulov ever wears a Nashville jersey again.

What do they all have in common? They are the best Devils forwards. And yet we stick Staal plus our grinders on the PK. If freakin Kovalchuk can learn to play defense well enough to be on the PK, certainly Crosby and Malkin can. Ugh.
The more I see other teams do it and have success while doing it, the more it bothers me how Bylsma is unwilling to even try something different.

"Hmm, PK is getting eaten alive by the Flyers. What to do, what to do. I know, send the exact same people out there time and again and make no adjustments to it. Get 'er done ... I mean, grind them *****es down!"

They believe in the way they play. They just never "got to their game". Their PK was great during the regular season. Craig Adams is probably the best PK'er on the team.

Adjustments are for losers.

And Bylsma's love of his systems is a big reason why our Power Play is still ineffective without a great puck carrier (Gonchar, Sullivan) and how our defense could be so terrible with all of the talent we have on the backend.

If Craig Adams gets as much ice time as he did last season, I'm going to fume. I honestly think Bylsma has a blind spot with Adams because he's basically Byslma when he was a player.

Should have been a major.

Nashville was taking it to Phoenix that whole 2nd period but it's still 1-0. Smith looks legit.

NSH hit the post or missed the net.

Smith hasn't had to make many tough saves. he's only seen 18 shots through 50+ min.

Yeah you are right, I am a little drunk and saw in the intermission that most of the chances weren't hitting him.

@Kayla yeah WTF was that. What's the point of conferring if you're gonna give no explanation and stick to your dubious guns.

PHX wins. Go Kings I guess.

It is weird, they did the same thing the other night too. Like, c'mon, give us an explanation!

Also, I find it funny how when AK46 and Radulov were suspended everyone was OK with that and said good on Trotz for punishing his players. Now that they've lost a game without them cause Trotz wanted the same lineup, people think he's an idiot.

Goligoski with a nice move in the neutral zone to spring Okposo for a breakaway goal against Huet
