Surely you jest. Sefton takes just as many stupid penalties as Silk.

I'd go with Kantor as captain I suppose. I'd honestly like to see Harris, Baptiste, Corbett with letters.

Or why not just go with Marc Burgess wants since he gets what he wants and name Connor Burgess captain along with all 3 A's as well.

Well if the Corrado trade is true & going through as a Canucks fan I just want to thank you guys for keeping us informed on how Corrado was playing. Looks like Spott learned from his WJ selection camp mistake.

Best of luck to your team in the future

Or he was keeping Corrado's value down by not choosing him

I'm happy for Palazzese - he deserves a starting job. Hope Schmalz becomes the player Spott thought he was getting when he drafted him.

I suspect if Leivo or Corrado are returned to play their OA year, the 2nd rounder kicks in.

Wolves get bent over and taken to town. Kitchener couldn't even be courteous enough to throw in some lube

As bad as the wolves got destroyed I hope this is not the case. I'd assume it's just conditional on neither making the NHL post lockout this year.

Kitchener trade was for the present and Wolves for the future. Next year Wolves could have all 3 returning players, and Kitchener none.

Sudbury didnt have a chance to win this year, but they do next year.

Next, Sefton should be traded. Then we can praise Blaine Smith.

I guess you have no clue who Franky P is he might be the best goalie in the league next year

I think there will be more to come in the way of trades. I think management has shown the team that they don't think what they have accomplished since December 1st is good enough. They have sold the farm. All teams have their top few who carry the load and these where the guys. Yes there has been supporting help but these are the top.

With the way the Wolves were playing lately they sold their assets for a goalie who will be here only one more season after this + an unproven forward and no longer have a proven QB for the PP on defence? Not sure what message they are sending the remainder of the players....

The conditions on the 2nd rounders from Kitchener:

1 - if Palazzese doesn't return for his OA year
1 - if Leivo returns for his OA year

So the 2nd rounders won't happen. Makes the deal even worse.

I think Palazzese will return next year, he always has said he just wants to play. Unless you guys trade him or run him out of town.
So you should get one 2nd back in the deal.

i think this trade is an ok trade

they get help this year next year and the year after for 2 players tht wont be back next year

Matt Schmalz needed a chance in sencery .... has all the tools to be a good ohl'er
Cory Genovese - big kid and has always been a plus player
franky P - already said it could be the best goalie in the league next season ( wish windsor got him )

plus sudbury has a tough time getting players to come and i think they got the best deal they could for them

i give this trade a WIN/WIN

How? Palazzese will return as OA, Leivo does not return as OA-Goodbye 2nds. If Sudbury trades Palazzese they have to give Kitchener the conditional 3rd. Looks like Barney Rubble got the best of this deal.
