My personal favorite is the Philadelphia Flyers, it has a great sound to it and I think the name Flyers is a great name for a hockey team.

huh, and I was just about to correct you and say that they're just the Tigers and the "Sound" part of the name just refers to their market region, but turns out they really are the "Sound Tigers."
And here I thought that they were like the Nippon Ham Fighters, where Nippon Ham was the company, Fighters was the team nickname, and the combination of the two just sounded funny together.
That all being said.....
Nippon Ham Fighters is clearly the best team name.
