Good lord.

Couldn't stay up for third OT but glad they pulled it out.

Ice baths and massages all day for both teams

Very proud to be a Rangers fan today (especially because we won).

I think one of the keys was that the 4th line played...and played well. There was no way we would have won had we played with 3 lines.

I wouldn't take it personally, especially if its BG. Some good posters there, but Benedict went around claiming Valiquette was better than Lundqvist after he had a better sv% one year.

This was made more amusing by the fact that the next year, Clemmensen had a better sv% than Brrodeur.

That doesn't surprise me. I was at the game when Semin and Staal fought and one of the fans in front of me said "it wasn't fair that Semin got thrown out of the game." Just to refresh everyone's memory he didn't have his fighting strap tied down.

waiting on a fine (especially now that a picture is out) for girardi/mdz for interacting with that moronic caps fan, probably one of the same idiots who kept pounding on the glass any time a player would skate by.

Lol...please, they should just rename their out of town scoreboard thread, "The Completely Biased Rangers Bashing Thread" over there. Friends with a lot of them, but they are so ridiculously biased and just downright moronic sometimes with the things they say. I guess it's true that if you tell yourself something enough times, it starts to ring true. Cause I have no doubt that they have told themselves over and over again that Henke really isn't this good, that they probably believe it by now. Used to piss me off, but I just laugh at them at this point.

Needs to be addressed. Should be first whistle after the midway point, unless it is an icing. Pretty sure they don't go to TV timeouts after icings right?

Too bad the NHL can't change the rules in the middle of a playoff series.

Haven't even visited the moronic Devils board yet. I do that occasionally. But I already know what crap they'll be spewing over there. So not like there's a big point to going there anyway. They're a bunch of whining idiots who act like penguins fans whenever they see a Rangers game. It's like all their supposed hockey knowledge flies out the window.

I know that I wouldn't stay up past midnight for a second round devils game (unless the Rangers are playing) but those obsessed fans will probably watch until 5AM if necessary.

Yeah, that's why they are rooting for the Caps. Devils fans are scare to death knowing we are a much better team.
Anyway, the Devils will not get by the Flyers.
Oh, good morning all.

for serious. this is such a joke. basically clock reads 10 minutes they can ice the puck after a 2 minute shift and get 2 minutes to rest up.

i'm sure this has already been discussed here, as it was on the broadcast last night but: they need to change the circumstances under which they can stop the game to clean the ice. i understand the rule is that they clean the ice at the first stoppage after the 10:00 mark. with that being said, rules are rules and the refs are employed to enforce them so you can't blame them but; how do you stop the game and allow the pinned team to catch their breath in double overtime where these instances are crucial

just realized that half this thread was dedicated to that, whoops

to redeem the redundancy of my last post.. has anyone mentioned when the refs had to go to the caps bench to get the right players out after the icing? that wasted a good 30 seconds in itself. are warnings issued? i'm not expecting a delay of game to be called in OT but they should be held accountable somehow

The Devils "board" seem to be obsessed with Mcd's ice time. Lol, they are clocking him.

I still prefer the Gaborikrolled headline from NHL.com after they beat the Bruins in January.

As JD used to say "Call a cardiologist! My heart can't take this!"

Next morning and that game was still absolutely insane. My heart was beating out my chest the whole time, especially when the puck was in the Rangers zone.

A fan put up his middle finger, so when all the players were cheering near the glass directly on the other side of the fan, MDZ did the same to him. It also looks like Girardi did the same thing, but I can't tell for sure.

Is "Gift of Gab(s)" a saying or something? It's pretty weird that they both have pretty much the same headline.
