Herniated disc's are not fun to have. My Dad had one a few years ago and he said it was crippling. He usually has an extremely high pain tolerance but he couldn't stand the pain of a herniated disc at all. He eventually had surgery to help relieve any pain and now he's fine. Of course at the time he had it he was like 57, so I expect Ilya to recover quicker and stuff at the age of 28/29.
I have a herniated disc. Your life is not over just because you have a herniated disc. All it means is that there is an impingement on his spinal cord which is causing pain. Sounds horrible, but the reality is that it's pretty common. There are some real basic non-invasive treatments that can cause the impingement to retreat temporarily (e.g., cortizone shots, steorid treatment, etc). I'm guessing our good buddy Kovy has been at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York getting one or more of these treatments, and they do work quickly.
If they can solve the problem short term this way, fantastic.
Long term - surgery may be required for lasting relief.
Just use Teddy for spare parts from now on. If his are some funky Ikea dimensions I guess use Zharkov's to ensure compatibility.
"Devils just trap trap trap trap. Sure it's a modified trap different than LeMaire's but even with two forecheckers they have the defense sitting back with the third guy clogging up the middle of the ice." - explanation of how the Devils still employ the trap
