The Elias incident epitomizes how the NHL has gone backwards. For the first few years after the lockout that was a penalty EVERY time. Now when a player dumps and goes to chase you can do whatever you want to make sure they don't get the puck.

That's why I say either swallow the whistle or call EVERYTHING. Everything on both sides!

If they excuse penalties for the Flyers FINE. Just don't not excuse the same penalties against us. This is effing trash. I didn't complain much about the officiating last series. I think I complained the least, but this is stupid.

I cannot even believe the refs botched that call against Kovy. Can Kovy defy the laws of physics?? From the way Kovy shot it it was utterly impossible to go out of play. It was blatantly obvious to *everyone* except the refs.
