That's mine too. I become a statue for most games. I have problems.

Oh you. I have the same superstition, only worse. If I've crossed my arms or hands they also have to be held in the same position throughout the game. It can get very irritating at times, especially if I'm not sitting or lying down comfortably at the time when my team are playing well.

When you have places like MSG being in the middle of NYC, you have a lot of fans that don't even bother going home after work. They just go to games in their work clothes, or a change of clothes they bring to work. And it's alot easier to crumble a t shirt into a plastic bag than a nice jersey.

When I used to go from working in NYC to a Devils game I always had my Devils jersey in a bag for the game that evening. I only had so much space in the bag, and I used it for a jersey instead of comfortable clothes to change into. Threw the jersey and a devils hat on over the shirt and tie and pretended that I just looked like a draft pick. Hopefully a late round pick at best.

My jersey resides in two places. It's either on a coat hanger in my closest, or fully draped over my computer chair that I never sit in.
That too. The idea of folding my jersey worked for about 5 seconds. Then after that... however it fit in my drawstring bag quickest took priority.

I used to be like that years ago (during the team's cup runs... so maybe I should go back to this). These days its a lot more basic. I did watch games 6 and 7 vs. Florida in the same exact spot. Did watch game 1 against Philly in that spot (to no luck obviously), but after sitting somewhere else for most of game 2, I moved back down there for the 3rd period and we all saw how well that worked out. My family is big on eating dinner at the same place before games they win. I think today will be the 4th time I've had dinner at this one specific pizza place before a Devils game. The first three being Game 4, 6, and 7 vs. Florida last round. If this game doesn't work out well tonight, I'll blame it on my eating the wrong slices.

I'm the opposite. I don't sit I pace around and stand all game. I've been pacing all day already.

I'm the exact same way. If I'm sitting with my legs crossed, I have to sit like that the entire game which is very very uncomfortable.

And there's certain TV's I watch the game on now. I no longer watch games on the 70" plasma anymore, I have to settle for my 40 inch LCD, sucks, but it works. (Every game they've won aside from game 1 of 1st round, has been watched on the 40", all the rest on the big tv)

Also, I don't have the HF tab open during gameplay because it's proven bad luck. When I leave it on my Twitter page, they never lose.

I am 5-0 these playoffs (8-1 in the regular season) when the game is on TV and I don't have to go fishing for a stream.

I've found that I need my Aussie Rules Football in my possession during games for good luck. I'm positive it's what gave the Devils the extra kick to win games 6 and 7 vs. Florida.

I have to sit in the same spot all game. I'm also convinced that if I'm in the middle of a game on NHL12 the team will play poorly if I dont score a goal.

It's pretty much always worked out for me. Certainly when I've watched the big games Liverpool have been playing. Sat still in the same bar stool with my arms crossed when watching the League Cup Final. They eventually won on penalties.

If it makes my team win I think I can cope with doing it those 2-3 hours. It's pretty much the only thing I'm superstitious about.

Who knows, maybe I need

I've come to realize that HF dictates the outcome of the game.

If I'm on HF, and the Devils are kicking ass, I will not leave HF until the game is over. If they are sucking and I'm on HF, I close my web browser. If the Devils are sucking and I'm not on HF, I open up HF, and they start to win. If the Devils are kicking ass and I'm not on HF, I don't come on at all until the game is over.

If i dont tell exactly 1 person with a 4 letter HF handle to piss off when superstitions are criticized, then we lose when a gamma ray burst takes out our defense.

I dunno about you, but i wont be responsible for what happens if i didnt do my part so here goes:

I'm undefeated when taking a dump exactly 36 minutes before puck drop, looking to continue that trend tonight.
