This, I think Brown will put up 70-85 pts next season playing alongside McDavid.

If there is a full season lockout, I could see Frattin challenging for one of the leading goal scorers in the AHL.

Yeah, the Marlies will have great confidence after making it to the Calder cup final last year. Guys like Gardiner, Kadri, Colborne, Ashton, Ross, D'amigo, Blacker, Holzer, Scrivens and Frattin could have a great year of development. I can imagine Kadri and Frattin developing great chemistry; they showed it during the playoffs and they could have a whole year of playing together.

I really want ashton to work on his offensive skill. If he can do that, I really hope we strike gold with this guy being a legit powerforward who can terrorize goalies by scoring goals big time as well.

Since it seems that the majority of their roster from last year is starting with them, it would be great if they can repeat the sucess they had and compete again for the Calder Cup.

I read somewhere that he will be when he is fully healed from his injury. Until then he can't be sent down and I believe at that time he still can't be claimed which is good news.

Because of his injury, and he also gets paid more until he is sent down so I think he is staying up to earn NHL money until he is healthy.

From what I understand, since he's no longer on his entry-level deal (he signed a new 2 year, one-way contract this summer) he is ineligible to be sent down to the Marlies during the lockout. All the players sent down to the AHL today (Henrique, Eberle, Nugent-Hopkins, etc) are on their entry-level deals.

Still a 0.923 save percentage. That's still solid for junior hockey

too bad frattin wont be in the marlies because of his contract or maybe he can, anyways, kadri and frattin have great chemistry on the ice. I have also heard they are great friends off the ice as well.

Holzer got sent down and he's on a 1-way contract. I'm assuming Frattin wasn't sent down because he's injured.

Just cause he has a one way contract doesn't mean he can't get sent down. I think he has somewhere between 5-10 more NHL games before he isnt eligable. If you know when he signed his first pro contract you can figure it out here http://capgeek.com/waiver_calculator.php
