Ah thanks. It sure looked like it was on the YouTube link.
1 CDN =/= 1 Euro..
But, 15 Euro is still too cheap. I think this guy was just trying to make a point that 250 Euro for Canada vs Slovakia isn't worth it. I think they would have done better if they were pricing the tickets in the 50-90 Euro range.

From the sounds of it Slovakia's holding its own without a lot of key players.

15 euros for this kind of game would have been perfect.
Oh yeah Tatar scores!

Nice save Ward.
Never seen a major country in a goalie drought like Canada is in right now.

15-30€ for Espoo Blues. 21,50-43,50€ for HIFK from Helsinki.
30€ is $40.
Prices for non Finnish games in Finland for WHC are 36–196€.

Yeah, rather seen fuller arenas for these games. Finn games will probably sell out, no matter the prices.

Understood. Thanks for the info. I guess I just have a skewed POV from paying Canadian NHL prices.

My mistake. I am used to "bucks" being NA slang for the $. I didn't know it was used in Europe to mean € as well. TIL.

Tough spot for a goalie, but yeah...Luongo would've had that one.

CDN? Is that CAD Canadian Dollars? CAD is not equal to EUR. I think 1 EUR = 1,25 CAD or someting like that.

Careful. The last time Luongo started making comments about what shots he would saved, it didn't work out too well for him.

Yeah, we need some goaltenders from La Belle Province to step up sooner or later.
Canada's all over Slovakia right now.

Quote was taken out of context by the media and they ran with it.
