Couturier is at practice, we'll know more as the morning progresses.

Couturier is not on the ice as yet. He skated earlier. Practice has started.

It appears Couturier will be out for Sunday. If so, Rinaldo is the replacement.

Yeah, definitely not good, but it's one player, and we should be able to replace him. Having said that, I do hope he returns soon. I'd rather rest him until he's fully recovered than rush him in, though.

If you need a hired dog to give you energy and to sit on the end of the bench for 56 minutes, you've already lost the battle

Dress Harry Z or pretty much anyone else. Rinaldo will add nothing. You shouldn't need an infusion of energy in a critical playoff game, and he will 100% be called for at least 1 penalty for every three shifts played.

Would like to see Holmstrom in there. At least he can play defense.

energy from Rinaldo=2 minutes for charging or boarding. Better work on the PK.

The Flyers can win without Coots, if they play like they did in game 6 against the Penguins. They will win this series in 6.

Well Couts is probably hurt worse than they are saying, but Rinaldo coming in the line-up might not be a bad move, regardless of the target on his back, no one else has brought any kind of energy to this series yet so why not?

Because he'll be in the penalty box after his first shift.

His penalties taken vs. drawn per 60mins played isn't that egregious... only a .8 differential...less than players like Stoll, Eager, Konopka, Neil. He does have some modicum of skill and can skate. I like the move...so long as he plays on the edge, and not over it, it should be fine...this team needs some energy and jam...if nothing else, he'll provie those things.

If it takes all of Rinaldo's 5 minutes of ice time to give this team some energy and jam, then we don't deserve to move on.

I'd rather not see Rinaldo in the playoffs. He'll either do something stupid or the refs will penalize him because they think he's going to do something stupid. Also, is anyone else saying they think it's a cut? Carchidi isn't someone to trust and I didn't see anything happen to him that looked like he was cut.

He averaged 7:28 minutes per game, pretty much all of which was even strength. That's enough time to get in there and skate hard, get in some big clean checks on the likes of Kovy and Parise, forecheck and backcheck with tenacity...I believe Giroux commented during the season how what Zac brings helps the team...and it can...he may get a penalty...hopefully it's fairly contained and things don't go too far. He's played plenty of games where he's been on that edge but refrained from going over it...no reason to think he can't do that here.

Let's get some hatred and animosity going, the Devils are boring them to death....

While I don't think they should run Brodeur, I do feel like they need to play with more of an edge. I feel like there was so much nastiness from the Penguins series that they were relieved to play a team that just wanted to play hockey and not throw big hits and get into it after the whistle.

That's letting the Devils off easy, in my opinion, because I think the physical side of this series benefits the Flyers. They need to throw some (legal) checks that actually hurt people. It energizes them and it will throw the Devils off their game. The Devils have no fear going into their zone for the puck because they never get hit.

It's the stupid penalties that cost us. Such as plays that are behind the play, or the hit on Neal in the first round.

Yeah Harry Z could provide as much energy with his speed.
