Morrow's lack of walks are phenomenal. Doesn't even seem like the same guy.

The best part about this game was clearly his fastball. Everything was on the bottom corners, and I could count the amount of pitches thrown letter high on my hands.

What a great game all round. Lawrie flashed some serious leather, and Thames tracked the ball much much better. JP had a steady diet of breaking balls in the dirt aswell.

How frustrated must their owner be who shelled out 250 million dollars for their new 1st baseman who is hitting .208 with 0 HR 5 RBI's lol.

Edit: he went 0-3 tonight so his average is close to .200 now.

Looking at the standings..the AL East is destroying the rest of the AL.

Spectacular game by Morrow. He's been money in his last two starts and I hope that continues to be the trend for the rest of the season. It's incredibly impressive that in his last two games, he hasn't walked anyone.

Bautista is beyond frustrated right now and it's easy to see. I don't know what it will take to turn things around for him but it's still very early into the season. Hopefully his bat wakes up sometime soon and stays awake.

His last at bat was confirmation to me that he needs a day off. That was a pathetic swing and one of the worst at bats I've seen from him as a Jay, he looks totally defeated up there. Just look at his face when he goes down 0-1 and 0-2 in the count he looks beat up and pissed. It's like he already knows he's lost the at-bat

I'd say right now the AL East is the most competitive division in the entire league. The NL East I'd rank second and the rest I don't even think are worth ranking.

I wouldn't mind him getting a day off to recharge the batteries. It's not like the team relies solely on him to win games.

Hey remember that time we said Morrow was dominant last start.....ya he was scary good this time around.

Hear that sound? It's the sound of something clicking for him.

Hope Hendo finds his groove tonight, for both the Jays and my fantasy squad. Need those K's baby.

It was indeed an ironic, or farcial, way for the greatest relief pitcher ever to finish this game. He was a beauty.

Bon chance, enjoy your retirement, Mariano, el hombre.

Wake up!

At some point, you will have to put EE at no3 or no4.
Maybe it's time to take Bautista out of his so called comfort zone and do what he did with KJ and Yunel. Move EE to 3rd and Jose to 4th. Move everyone else up and Lind can drop to the 9 hole if they want to keep playing him.

To top that off their attendance is apparently the lowest it's been in like 20 years. They are now averaging around 28k per game and they've been a steady 30K+ team forever. Bad signs for them.

Jays are averaging like 25k per game and Toronto is nowhere near as much of a baseball city as Los Angeles (and we have far less people).

I was just looking up Dan Haren's stats..what do you guys think of possibly picking him up near the deadline? He's only 31 (he'll be 32 in September) Although we're doing well right now the 5th starter role still needs to be addressed, Hutchinson can't be with the big club all year IMO he's going to get worn out. I'm sure it wouldn't cost us too much prospect wise, and he's not making a ton of money either. He would shore up our rotation pretty nicely.

Granted we're still in a playoff spot or at least contending for one.

I had a feeling this was going to happen with the Angels, they are an old team and Pujols is definitely on the back end of his career, I was against the Jays signing him, if we were going to spend the money I would've preferred Fielder.
