Can they still bring in replacements?

I'm hoping for Spezza, but if not maybe they can get a guy like Versteeg, Marchand or McGinn.

Bad blow. Hockey Canada can still add three more players (Two D-man, and One Forward) since the deadline I believe is the 17th to finalize the roster. Spezza wanted to come, and hopefully they can get him now.

Can anyone describe what happened? I did not see it at all.

Not a big Burrows fan but always tough when a player goes down to injury. As above hopefully they can find a replacement.

He was going inbetween two Slovak players and sort of slipped and fell on the ice. Everyone immediately jumps to concussion talk these days. Lowe said he was fine in the locker room after the hit, which is a good sign.

He ran into two players, and hit his head on the ice pretty hard.

He was wobbling on the way back to the bench.

Not sure about Marchy.Didn't think he was an option or he would have been asked already

According to a Vancouver radio station, Hockey Canada said he'll be out tomorrow vs. USA, but should be back on the ice at a later point in the tournament.

Hopefully it's nothing serious, but they shouldn't push it if they're not sure. We can't have another "Sedin" go down with a concussion!

Team Canada said P.K. Subban was day-to-day before announcing that he would be out for the tourney, so I would take their immediate words with a grain of salt.

Burr hit his head on the ice hard and then looked wobbly and out of it. It's not too much of a stretch to see he's likely concussed and concussions don't just go away overnight. I would be shocked to see him play another game in this tournament.
